How do you know if you're duplicating a post?

What's the best way to make sure SWIM keeps from asking questions that are already posted on Bluelight? Is there a search function? I don't want to upset other users and duplicate posts! %)

It's easiest to use the google.com search engine, and add site:bluelight.ru to the parameters.

Another great way is to explore the directories of said sub-forum you are posing in.

To see if you have duplicated a post,the easiest way is to go to your profile-or click on your user name to the left of any post-and then select "view forum posts". You can use this option to see your posts, or the posts of other members,from the most recent to 500 posts prior to the last post made.
