How do YOU handle being ripped off

I didn't realize that other people had pointed out the fact that there was another thread, so I apologize if I sounded redundant.

In regards to this situation, I say cut your losses and never deal with this source again. If you manage to get in contact with him try to reason with him and get compensation for your money. I'm not sure what you meant when you said he "stunts" when you call him but there's a chance that he has a reason for not getting your shit. If he makes it up to you (i.e. gives you the product or your money back) act kind to him but don't deal with him again. IMO someone who takes your money and doesn't get back to you is not worth dealing with, even if they make it up to you later.

Don't beat him up though.

please dont make another thread thats already been made though, especially if its on the front page of the board already. You're not a greenlighter, you know whats expected of you
 
I'm never really buying more than like $50 worth of shit from untrusted connects or middlemen. I would certainly never front more than that without seeing the drugs first. So its not worth doing anything if I get ripped over that amount of money. Plus I'm a small guy its not like there is much I could do. If one of my regular connects rips me, it is usually an accident and they will make right. Depending on who the person is or how well I know them I will try to argue if I think I've been ripped. Its rare to get straight up beat for money but it has happened a couple times using middle men (they just ran off never to be seen or heard from again).

What goes around usually comes around anyway. One time I got ripped off over something silly, a small bag of weed like maybe 3.5 g and it weighed like a gram less when I got home. Anyway I call the guy back and he tries to say my scale is malfunctioning, I'm lying, blah blah blah. So I just didn't go back to him. A few months later I heard it went to go buy a half-pound from somebody. Instead of the weed, that somebody put a sawn-off shoved in his face, hand-cuffed him to the steering wheel of his car (after making tossing the keys out the window), and pistol whipped him for good measure.

youarewhatyouis, that's great way to think of it. I basically did just pay $50 to find out that dude wasn't trust worthy. It's better than him just dipping out with like $500, I mean damn though, if he needed $50 that bad I would of just threw it to him.

ya man i DID read your post before i posted, which is why i decided to post in the first place. just because you wanna post about your particular situation doesn't mean you need to start a new thread about it.
ppl with special questions about opana don't make their own threads to ask a question, they post in the MEGA THREAD. ppl that wanna post their unique story about getting caught by their parents don't make a new thread, they put their post in the thread already made for the subject! there are alot of ppl that have their own stories and situations in the original "getting ripped off" thread and guess what? they post it in the original thread, they don't make brand new threads so their posts can get special attention. thats not how it works here as other ppl like "chainsawr" and " thizzerfershizzer" said. your lucky the thread didn't just get closed, most duplicate threads do but merging into the original thread seems fine too. read the rules of BL man, maybe you have, but it looks like you skipped over some.
 
sometimes you gotta just take it and be smart. A majority of the time its your fault when you get robbed. I think back to the first time i attemped to cop of the street in paterson. I was driving around for a while sick as hell not seeing the usual young hustlers out on the street that are dressed nice, well nice hood fashion and an older guy waved me down, number one mistake. He got in my car and said he could get me a bundle for 60, believin that number 2 mistake. All he had to do was go to his boys apartment and get it number 3. Of course me beign like man your not gonna run off right, naaa no way man gave him my money watched him walk into an apartment complex , right there and than i knew i wasnt gettin anything, i still waited of course. Guy didnt have a phone and was dressed in dirt ass clothes i dont know what i was thinking, but hey what am i gonna do walk into the projects and even if i found the dude who towered above me what was i gonna do. Sometimes when your beat your beat.
 
never been ripped offed, lucky for them or i'd have the mexican mafia pound them into dirt.
 
Wowww a whole bunch of shit happened since I posted. Anyways, MY BAD about making my own thread for it. Whatver. You guys merged it and fixed the problem. I didn't see why it needed to be merge but if ya'll say so, be my guest. I'll admit if I'm wrong.

Anyways. Since this all went down the other night I've gotten text messages from my boys phone. He said some bullshit like "this is ****s baby mother, he got rolled on by the sheriff coming to meet back up with you" blah blah etc...but she said he called her from the lock up to MAKE SURE she told me he didn't bail with the money.

I'd almost believe it if he didn't text this girl I know asking if she needed yappers on friday. If he got knocked on Thursday, why's he texting my home girl on Friday, then having his "baby mom" text me on Saturday? It's all a bunch of grimey bullshit. Honestly. I wasn't even trying to beef over the $50. The fact he's gonna try and play me with the "I got locked up" story, that's worth squaring up over.

But we'll see what happens tomorrow because Tuesday is supposed to be when he "gets out" of county. I was gonna let it slide if he dipped with the $50 and just didn't talk to me again. If he thinks he's gonna guilt trip me by saying he got arrested that plan is all wrong. By guilt tripping me he's trying to get my trust back, which TO ME says he plans on trying to rob me again. Which is exactly why he's probably gonna get rolled on tomorrow if he didn't just own up to the shit..

God nows that ive done enough fucked up shit to other people tin my life that its probably bad karma coming back my way....And of course itll go back to the asshole who ripped me off
 
I don't ever give up the money period. If the person can't produce the product, then I'll find someone else.
One time a few years ago my bro and I were down in NYC. I had about $1500 on me looking for a package. We spoke to a guy who told us too follow him. We did and went into this building. Got up about 3 floors and 2 others join in. I look at my Bro like shit we're in for it! But we keep on since it don't look like there's any turning back now anyways. We get up too the roof and there are 3 more dudes. I'm thinking damn we're dead meat. As it happened we we're very lucky and they did the deal, I got my package and they actually walked us almost back to the car. It was one block further than their turf so they didn't go the final block. You just never know. Street copping is a bitch so as stated, I never give uo the money unless I can see the product.
 
i've been sold shit pills a few times.. i fuckin hate it. my flatmate got ripped off for a half oz of weed once.. she cried for ages

it's embarassing, ja.. but like someone before me said mebbe it's my bad karma, or mebbe it's 'drug tax'.
 
What do you do when you get ripped off by a street dealer?

I got ripped off tonight and am pissed, it was small but still frustrating. Dealers can make enough money selling legit product rather than screwing people over.

So has anyone done anything in response or is it best to just let it go and be more careful next time? Out of principle I want to beat the shit out of these fuckers but I won't risk my life over something so stupid.

So this morning I went out to try and find some heroin since my dealer wasn't picking up. This one dude sold me a bag of sweet and low, that motherfucker, I'm glad I make it a rule to only buy very small at first with these guys. He made a big production out of the whole thing making me walk with him, get his friend who watched me, who hounded me asking if I was a cop, while he went and got this stamped baggie that looked legit then I find out it is literally artificial sweetener.

Then frustrated I went to go back to confront the guy and passed another dealer who I bought what he said was heroin. It turns out it was some mysterty white crystally rock that won't smoke and didn't get me high snorted.


Still better than the douchebags who ripped $250 out of my hand and ran off a couple months back... Those guys i would consider harming if I saw again.

so I'm pissed and wonder how other people ave gotten ripped off, and when you have to deal with street dealers how you can protect yourself from shit like this.

Honestly- yeah it sucks, but it's not worth pursuing anything cause it'll only 1) draw attention to you from folks you don't want attention from or worse; 2) get you killed.
