How do YOU handle being ripped off

This is too funny. Where I cop, If you get ripped, and then you go back to them to "reason with them", they'll see just how stupid you are and rip you again. Or beat the hell out of you for being an idiot.

I rarely ever get ripped off because everyone is serious business, they know me, and I know how to cop. The one or two times I did get ripped, I never went back to them again. Besides these kids disappeared after a month or two. Either shot up or in jail.

You must live in a fairly safe area then. You'd be the doormat if you didn't feel so cush. It's not about karma. There are so many other places to cop drugs that if one person ripped you off, you just go down the block to another. It's not worth your life over.

One time at work this dude ripped me off took a good chunk of me and another kid who I said I could get oxys for. Gave him the money for a couple of em while at work, he says he'll be right back to meet the person dropping them off. An hour goes by and I ask around and everyone tells me he left about an hour ago. Fuck. Well the next time I had work which was like 5 days later (I tried calling him and he didnt answer) he tells me some bullshit sotry about getting robbed at gunpoint for the money, his phone, jewelry, etc. So I think he's full of shit so I go around work telling everyone about it and how grimey he is and telling everyone not to deal with the fucker. He lost so much business, a couple weeks later he offers to give me a gram of coke to make up for it, although he still claimed he got robbed. So I figured why not, mine as well get something out of it rather than nothing. I still think he just took the money for himself.

Anyways get this shit. I post in that thread about how I react to getting ripped off, after not having been hustled in months. And then here we are tonight a day later and shit pops off.

I hit my boy up, see whats good, he tells me come through like always. Just for a little $50 of some killah cause my normal dude was taking to long. So I get a ride all the way out there and we park at the normal spot. Dude runs up and hops in the whip. He tells me he didn't have any more of his shit, but he's about to walk to his dudes and cop mine while he gets himself some personal. I think nothing of it cause I done gave this dude PLENTY of money before and shit never went wrong. He gets out of the car and walks through the fence into the apartments. And he never came back. Hit him up and he stunts. Stunts again. Phone goes off next call.

Dude I had drive me, AND gave gas money too, gets so angry that he "wasted his time" he makes me GET OUT OF THE CAR. Honestly on any other day I would of dripped him right there in the car, but since his girl was with us, and since he's my boy, I just got out of the whip and he dips out. Great. Now I live on the South Side, and here I am stuck all the way out on the West side with my phone about to die. Whatever though. I'm not a dipshit and know how the fuck to take a COTA bus back to my neighborhood.

Anyways, here's the dilemma. Dude that dipped with the $50 HAS to be on some other shit. I've given him some pretty big amounts of cash before and let him go meet up with his people, and he has ALWAYS came back. If he was on that robbery shit, why wouldn't he of got me then when I was coming through with the real money? Seriously what the fuck would make him play some grimy shit for the $50?

Any other person it'd be game over and they'd get rolled on, no doubt. But this situation? Shit, I don't know if I should just laugh that he was dumb enough to fuck our lil business relationship for the $50, or be SALTY AS FUCK I got stuck way out of my neighborhood and had to bus it home with no weed. The funniest part is this is the least angry I've ever gotten over getting took, even after the bull shit stranded part. Probably end up just forgetting about it, who knows though.
 
There's a small chance that something happenned to your boy, such as: cops or he couldve been jacked himself, but you never know, the correct answer is usually the simplest one.
 
omg man, there is another thread in DC that is EXACTLY like this one, its only about 10 posts down, you obviously didn't even think before you made this thread and certainly did not read the rules. i am very surprised this is still open. anyways the other thread is titled "How do YOU handle being ripped off?". pretty much the same name too. post in there!
 
he just beat you for the 50 bucks and on top of that, he was too much of a bitch to even tell you that he just beat you for the 50 bucks, so instead, he just turns his phone off

which tells me that either A). he feels bad for doing it, or B). he's afraid of you

if you called the thief back, and the thief laughed at you and told you: "come see me if you want that money back mother fucker," thats someone you might not want to mess with. But since he's ignoring your calls, he's a straight up bitch and you could probably get him back if you wanted to

but if you want to look at this situation from the positive, harm reduction, non-violent point of view, it's basically like you just paid 50 dollars to rid your life of someone who is not trustworthy

Why don't you READ THE FUCKING THREAD before saying some stupid shit like that? That thread is just how you react in general I'm asking about this certain situation here. Seriously.

youarewhatyouis, that's great way to think of it. I basically did just pay $50 to find out that dude wasn't trust worthy. It's better than him just dipping out with like $500, I mean damn though, if he needed $50 that bad I would of just threw it to him.

I find it hilarious that people will rip other people off for just weed. I can understand, sort of, if it is some sort of hard drug and you are just a straight fiend and you need to get your fix - but god damn weed?!
 
yea true that. its immature people that just are selfish and want weed for themselves. i mean i wouldnt consider it a soft drug or anything but its something that shouldnt bring problems with it. its just some green
 
Gave this guy who I had gone through one or two times $$$ for 150 Norcos (Idk if that's a good price where you guys are at, but it's really good here.) He tells me to wait about 30 mins while his guy brings them. I go home and wait for his call. About an hour after hearing nothing I call him, no answer. I call him about 10 times that day and still nothing.

The next day he calls me at about noon and says "Heeeey diiiid yoooou still want those pillllllls?

I'm like yes you stupid fuck, of course I do, I gave you $$$ last night! And he's like "you did?" I said check your pocket dude, he goes "Ohhh shit." and hangs up.

Good news is it wasn't my money, and the dude I was dealing for knew this kid, so he dealt with it himself. Last I heard the kid moved to LA and he's in a rehab.
