how do YOU feel on benzos on a stimulant comedown?

hey, i use benzos(as does most stimulant users) on stimulant comedowns(no suprises here ;)).

however, even though they help with with the living hell of a speed, coke, or xtc crash, i can still "feel" some of the unpleasant feelings of the crash.

is this normal? i've used benzos for crashes for a long time, and always felt they helped, but that "comedown feeling" stills lurks.

btw, i have become tolerant but have raised my doses, and i still have that problem, benzos cover up some of it but the unpleasant crash is still there "under it".

how do you feel on benzos on a crash? do you feel what i am describing? is it normal?

*right now my benzo comedown mix consists of 2mg.clonazepam, 45mg.temazepam, and 1-2mg.lorazepam.
 
I definitely feel much better but I agree benzos do not eliminate the whole comedown effects completely. I feel a headache and sometimes still feel a little bit of anxiety.

I think it is all dose relative though. As the bigger dose of benzo should help you immensely.
I also noticed that taking a bit gabapentin with benzos during comedown helps a lot better.

My benzo of choice for stim comedown is surprisingly lorazepam followed by clonazepam. I haven't tried many of them so I can't say how other ones do.
 
Alot better then if i have nothing to come down with :\ . Benzos don't take away all the symptoms and sometimes i can't sleep in any case if ive taken too much cocaine or dextroamphetamine but it does stop your head from spinning over and you don't feel as fucked up.

My benzos of choice for comedowns are temazepam, valium and clonazepam. Or all 3 if i have them.
 
well i haved tried mixing benzos with opiates and i feel good when the peak effects of the opiate are in play but after the peak i'm back where i started or passed out(sometimes you don't want to pass out on crashs you just want to feel better).

i have also tried barbs and quaaludes on comedowns and the "result" isn't much better or better at all than benzos, so i try not to waste them on comedowns.

adding alcohol helps, but there is nasty side effects alcohol can have that become worse on comedowns(dehydration, sugar low, headache, etc.). so with booze a couple beers or shots are o.k. but i wouldn't over do it.
 
Short acting Benzos such as Midazolam and Loprazolam are great for stim comedowns. I invariably use a combo of opiate/benzo for such situations and granted it does indeed take all the unpleasent effects of a stim comedown away. Lorazepam as stated above is VERY effective for that too ,well , most benzos are , temazepam ,alprazolam etc etc , even stuff like Hydroxyzine and Zolpidem work great .
 
You need longer acting things for comedowns. You need more of a muscle relaxant to kills the aches and pains from a hard night of partying.

Here is my comedown mix: 1500mg of Soma, 2mg of Klonopin, 150mg of pregabalin.

Waking up after the stim has completely worn off: 500mg of 5-HTP, 500mg of Absorbic acid, 500mcg of B-12, This will subside any shitty depressive anxiety the next day.
 
i was speeding today and took 4mg. clonazepam and 45mg. temazepam. seems to be doing the trick. also worked out(lifted weights) before the benzos, exercise seems to help clear up the "foggy" feeling after a good dose of adderall.

I never thought about stimulating endorphin release...
