    Welcome Guest!

How do YOU determine which is a HARDER drug?

I base it all on a few things

First off..is it addictive physically. That is probably my strongest indication of a hard drugs, and those are the drugs I go out of my way to avoid

Second, how detrimental is the drug to your physical and mental health.

If the drug is non addictive and non-low detrimentally, I usually don't see at as a very hard drug. I consider alcohol to be a harder drug then MDMA for example, and the Lancet Medical Journal seems to agree with me :3

For me personally weed is a lot more addictive, and I used to smoke very heavily and consider myself "addicted". I rate how hard a drug is on 3 factors: how euphoric the experience is which basically translates into how great the urge is going to be for the user to recreate the experience, the potential for mental and/or physical addiction and in turn the potential for the drug to become the users sole focus and lastly, the mental and physical negative effects that occur with frequent use.

The only one of the aforementioned criteria that fits weed more than ecstasy is number 2 imho. I think the average person who tries weed and ecstasy is going to prefer ecstasy by a lot and given the choice would rather use E. I smoked weed heavily for a good period before my heavyish use of ecstasy which averaged to probably twice a week using several pills, double dropping and redosing etc. and then for a considerable time after I took it back a notch. During my period of abusing ecstasy I felt more lethargic, stupid, had significantly more short term memory problems and felt depressed.

Weed only made me feel a bit lethargic when I smoked a lot and not if I was smoking only moderate amounts several times a day and had minimal effects on my memory.

Weed did result in a more serious longterm "addiction" problem than ecstasy but that was caused by its suitability for a much wider range of situations, much cheaper cost and much less adverse efeccts as a result from using.

There are more "pot heads" than "E tards" but there are also a lot more people who try weed than ecstasy and even of the ones who try both, the factors that caused me to smoke more weed probably applied equally to them.

In short, while I don't consider ecstasy a "hard drug" persay, I would have to rate it more so than cannabis.

I'd base it on the intensity + duration of the high.. plus the intensity and duration of the come down / recovery period..

Addiction and the likes don't come into it if i had it my way.. it's down to the user to know what they're doing and take precautions to avoiding OD / addiction / general fuckyness.

RIGHt on

I would say from soft to hard would be:

Marijuana
Shrooms
Salvia
DMT
LSD
MDMA/MDA
Speed
Cocaine
Meth
Heroin

I think the ones that have a higher addiction rate/ easier to get addicted to are hard drugs compared to the others... Also the effects that they have on people when they become addicted or are craving a hit.

I agree with your list 100%,I have done them all and physically heroin is deff the worst, but i still dislike maryjane!

i can actually stay perfectstly straight on mdma.
if i wanna feel the bliss, than i can feel it, if i wanna stay low key, i can make it look like ive never tried ecstasy before
also im one of those ppl that dont sweat at all, not even sweaty palms. lol

if i dont tell someone that im rolling nor if i dont show them my pupils, they would believe im sober.

but marijuana on the other hand.

My eyes would look so FUCKED UP, that i would play a better zombie than the monsters in resident evil.
And i would js zone the fuck out like crazy every 3 seconds. and laugh at everything.
and i feel more fucked and burnt the next day after using cannabis than mdma.

so if i was to take a drug out of the two once a month.

cannabis is a harder drug than mdma for me
