I enjoy the benefits and increased energy from BCAA's, but holy shit it is the worst tasting substance I've ever put in my mouth. I don't know if this is just my body, but I have the exact same reaction to BCAA's as I do when I try and ingest psilocybin mushrooms. When I open the tub and smell that sickly sweet smell i start feeling sick. When I put even 3 or 4 mg on my tongue I gag repeatedly and have even vomited a few minutes after ingestion. So obviously scooping some into my mouth is a no go.
I've also tried mixing it with protein shakes, but it is so overpowering that i feel queasy immediately and often feel the need to vomit.
Anyone else have these kind of reactions when consuming BCAA's? Is putting them in capsules yourself the best/only way to go?
