How do I reply to a certain part of a person's post/reply? I'm new - HELP!

Hellooo there,

How do I reply to a certain part of a person's post/reply? I've seen where users can reply to a specific part of a message, for example, one replies to maybe the 3rd and 4th sentence of a 10 sentence post. You guys know what I mean??? Like, it looks like they're replying to specifically THOSE sentences and not the whole entire post?

I don't even know how to word this question correctly, lol I'm sorry!
I haven't even tried writing back to someone like that yet and it's probably self explanatory once you press reply or something but I'm just going to be difficult and ask about it on here first, instead.

Hey and welcome to Bluelight:D Just use the quote function an the right side below the post you want to address and then delete the parts of the post you dont want. you can also use the quote bubble on the tool bar to help you separate out portions of a quote to address individually and then there is the multiquote button which is the button on the far right at the bottom of peoples posts, this will allow you to quote more than one post in your post.. just push this button for all the quotes you want included except puch the normal quote button for the last on and they will all apeare.

Welcome, welcome. And like Neversick said, use the quote function to reply to specific parts of someones post. You can even use the multiquote button, the one right next to the quote, to reply to quotes from multiple members posts at once.
