How do I preserve tobacco?

If I've opened the packet, how can I keep it fresh and moist? and how much do you recommend mixing with weed in 1 joint roughly?
 
If you're leaving it for a long time, I'd suggest buying a humidifier if necessary. If you're only keeping it for a short while (a week) then just make sure to keep it fastened up and as airtight as possible. Also the joint question should be in the cannabis thread but it's all up to you. Start small and work your way up. Happy smoking! :)
