How do I place my DMT on top of the chore boy metal mesh in DMT machine?

Hi guys,

So I'm close to trying the DMT for the first time, built myself a DMT machine but have one (2) questions:

1. How do I put the DMT on the Metal mesh plug? Do I try to sprinkle it from the top - through the hole punched in the bottom of the bottle?

Or do I put it on the mesh first and then the mesh into the bottle? Please help me out

2. Also my chore-boy mesh says : 'metal mesh" not copper but metal, will it still work?

Burn the 'metal mesh' first and make sure it burns clean.

Then use a lot of the screen material. Use more than you would think you would need. You want there to be lots of screen. Basically the dmt will melt into the screen and continue to melt and cling to more of the screen.

If there isn't enough screen the dmt will melt and go to the bottom of the pipe unburned.

Personally I'd throw some shake on screen then the dmt on top. Imo it helps it burn evenly and consistently.

Have fun. Don't expect any certain type of experience. Hopefully you have enough material to play with the dose and find your sweet spot.
 
^^yeah. I always used a chillum with a huge bowl head and would put like 5-8 brass screens in it. Worked perfectly and durable as fuck....unless I was on my third hit then it would like trying to light a laser space trombone with a comically distorted lighter.
 
I think that the metal mesh idea, whether in a 'DMT machine' device or regular bong, is always vastly superior because unlike virtually all other smoking methods it allows for a distribution of applied heat and gradual evaporation instead of direct heating. Direct heating is bound to burn more of the product.

How IMO you place the DMT on top of the chore boy is you use something like ashes to fill up the mesh, lay the DMT on it, gently heat it until the DMT melts and seeps onto the meshing, then smoke - again gently though well enough to produce decent hits.. Before you use the chore boy / mesh you need to heat the shit out of it to fume off the oils and shit that is on it. And you can also burn the ashes to make sure it is entirely done so that the only smoke / vapor produced actually comes from the DMT.
