How do I not feel like crap after?

Oh yes, I've always noticed that the more I take, the worse the next day is. Two pills and the "hangover" is non-existent. Three and I feel a bit lazy for a day or two. Four and I have trouble sleeping and am quite out of it for up to three days. Never done more than that. Four is usually more bad effects than good in the long run.

This depends on the strength of the pill as well.
 
*You don't roll too often, so just keep that up (take at least 1 month breaks, but even better if you take 2-3 month breaks or longer)
*Don't take too many pills in one night. I noticed a huge difference (comedown-wise) between the times I took 3.5 and the times I took 2.5
*Make sure what you're getting is actually MDMA (get a test kit or if that's not possible check pillreports.com)

What I do is eat a big healthy meal and drink a good amount of water for a few days afterward. OF course the most i've ever had as far as feeling bad is a mild headache. Meditation works too.

Honestly, for some reason i never felt bad after waking up if i had sex before falling asleep...
 
take 5-htp. the next day, eat small things. i usually eat some kind of fruit. try to stay away from grease. keep hydrated. taking a bath/shower is nice too.
 
All of the above are good as a post roll regiment but what I have always found to be a great after activity for the coming week (assuming you are rolling on Saturday night) is all piling back to a friends spot or have a bunch of friends come stay at yours, get as much sleep as you can, then the following day everybody wakes up when they wake up, setup some chill music (preferably outside), setup some blankets (preferably outside), get some champagne and O.J. and just lie around all day in the sun/around the house with buddies chatting about the previous nights escapade and overall just spend Sunday chillaxing with friends enjoying the afterglow! It prepares you for the week to come like nothing else imo!!
 
I've found that the drug affects everyone extremely differently: For instance, 1 of my friends rolls around in bed like a retard before falling cold asleep; another gets up and dances like mad and another has vomited profusely all 3 times she tried E.

One thing a lot of people fail to realize is that serotonin affects many other aspects than just mood, like sleep patterns, appetite and cognitive functioning. About 80 to 90% is produced in the digestive tract, which probably explains why E can cause such unpleasant digestive symptoms in some people (me included). Just like with SSRIs and other antidepressants that affect serotonin, ecstasy may increase or decrease appetite, sleep and mood both during and after the fact.

Something I've noticed on these boards in particular is the tendency of people to assume that because someone experienced something different on E than they have, it automatically means the drug was cut with god-knows-what. Not true. While there are plenty of dirty pills around, MDMA itself can cause a whole constellation of effects that aren't always predictable or enjoyable...fortunately for most of us, they're usually pretty darn enjoyable :)
 
I think that your attitude going into the event can play a large role. The nights where it is all good vibes and amazing music - I end up dancing and having a blast! For whatever reason after those nights I typically don't feel as lousy but instead have an amazing afterglow and actually feel quite satisfied instead of robbed of energy or motivation. Of course there is a correlation, the nights I am feeling incredible going into to it I don't usually end up taking as much This is just my experience :D
 
The days before:
Preload with 5-HTP maybe 2 or 3 days before. Make sure you're healthy, not stressed, and getting a good night's sleep.

The method I use that works wonders the day of...

1. Eat a light meal a couple of hours before you drop.
2. Don't overdo it on the pill intake.
3. Keep hydrated.
4. When I'm ready for bed, I take 5-HTP, a Mulitvitamin, extra Vitamin C (because my immune system gets wrecked after a roll), and lastly maybe one of the most important things is...I eat. I never have an appetite when I come down. Never. Food just doesn't appetize me. It's all cardboard. I suck it up, and I fix me some soup or I make toast. You need to feed your body something so the excess energy of what is left of the drug can work at breaking down food and vitamins. (Rather than breaking down fat and muscle lol.) Also, while you are rolling, you burn energy and food so when you come down you won't feel your best. That is why eating beforehand is a good idea.


In the days to follow:
Keep up with the 5-HTP and some vitamins, exercise, get good rest.

It's fairly simple. I believe having a healthy mind and body helps to make the negative effects not as earth shatteringly depressive. :)
