The thing that seems to be the source of the problem is that you say your husband isopen to nudism because you were first, and that you suspect he's only saying he's ok with it because he knows you love beaches.
I'm pretty sure all of us have been in a relationship where someone said they were ok with something because they wanted to be, but weren't really.
Talk to your husband again. Tell him it's ok if he has mixed feelings about this. Whatever limits you two do eventually set, at least they'll be honest and it won't be one of those 'yeah well I'm really not cool with it' kind of surprises.
