how do I have an out of Body Experience

Becareful when you are out of the body you dont know who or what may sneak in.
Trust me, an uninvited guest doesnt want to leave.

So long as you're doing it from a sober and steady mind state that isn't an issue, in my opinion (I'm not expert though).

Look into sleep paralysis. I was able to have all sorts of things happen when I practiced meditation lying down on my bed, relaxing my body completely until I lost feeling of it and became centered in my mind (without falling asleep).

Hemisync (aka Holosync) can help. It can easily place the mind into the state needed for deep meditation and a voice-under can direct the experiences.

Made me think of Gilfred Gottfried,

"Sometimes I’d sit and talk to Nostradamus and he’d just sit there and go, “I know. I know.”
"Once I went to movies with Nostradamus. I said, “Boy, what did you think of that ending?” He goes, “What? You didn’t see that coming?"

what the fuck?

I had an OBE twice in my life. once after smoking way too much Hash - and then while I was having an alcohol withdrawal, it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. In the dream I was invited to travel with a wise, old man who was on his way to paradise (he said "I'm going to Illalaylah" and "there is paradise"). On our journey the man who looked a bit like Raiden from Mortal Kombat (he had the same hat on and his face looked like from an experienced, old man) told me many very important things, I think he told me something about the purpous of life, our destiny as human beings or how to live properly. While I took a little notebook out of my pocket, the wise man said "It is forbidden to write anything down!" and so I couldn't remember anything of his "wisdom". :( but the scenery where we were flying along was very beautiful, there were horses pulling the waggon I believe, but they were flying, from everywhere I heard lovely music, like singing /chanting beings, we then flew up higher into the sky in his waggon. then the wise man told me "You can fly along a little longer, then I have to throw you off board!" I had to return to earth then and I literally sunk back from above into my body, everything was vibrating and I had an enourmous feeling of euphoria! this was the real shit, never experienced such an amazing dream before!

Start by waking up and immediately recalling and recording what you dreamt about..

Then move on to reality checks throughout the day, waking yourself up during dream hours, and eventually - lucid dreaming.

I've floated out of my body before into the living room where my friend's were sleeping (long ago), I hovered near the window for sometime deciding if I should leave or not, looking at myself sleeping in my bed. It was raining when I went to sleep, the sun began to shine when I was out of my body. I decided to lay back down into my body on my bed instead of exiting my one window that was slightly open.

I know it was true cos when I awoke it was not raining, and the sun was shining like when I was out of body. I also walked into the living room and all my friends sleeping in sleeping bags on the floor that I saw in my out of body experience were all in the same positions. And, I wouldn't have known this before i went to bed as they were still awake and standing when I went to sleep.

I would love to do it again, although scared I might leave this time… not sure what I would do, would like to fly. Anyways, good question… and not sure how to without dsm or some dissociative but that's not healthy.

I've recently learned how to do this without any drugs whatsoever. It really is possible. I just closed my eyes and cleared my mind and and very vivid visuals started to come to me. Eventually I was in a place where I could consciously control what I was doing in a sort of dream state.

I remember very clearly sitting on my phone, taking a couple drinks, and talking to some girl I haven't seen in years. It was very real and I would awaken in a lot of sweat every time. It's intense but very interesting...hopefully I can get back there tonight.

I am going to try that ^
I used to have hypnagogic visions all the time when young when drifting into REM, they were so vivid.
