How do I find out if a girl has a boyfriend?

If a girl has a boyfriend and doesn't intend to cheat on him, I find they usually fit "my boyfriend" in the first 5 minutes of talking.

exactly. if you're having any sort of conversations with this girl, you should have figured it out. if you're not, that would be a good place to start.

I think "So are you seeing anyone?" is a little better because it has broader scope. There's nothing worse than hearing "Well, he wasn't technically my boyfriend" after investing in someone.
