How did you meet your current dealer/connect/source?

I got a solid connect for the last of the OC's a month ago and now I can get tar, other pills and coke pretty easily. OC's are still gone 4 good though.

I used to just be able to supply myself as I sold until I got arrested for it, those people I knew from growing up, I would be sketched to buy quantity from people who weren't friends or family.

Since moving out of state,
-I met some small time connects at a rehab
-A steady source of Roxies/Xanax at a pharmacy some time back as we were both picking scripts up at the same time and heard what eachother were getting.
-For coke, weed, and OCs just had to ask a neighbor who always had traffic at their house

-If out of town either go to a park where homeless people hang out, for a few bucks or some beer/bag they can usually point you in the right direction. If not tell people you are new to the area and just need to know what areas you should avoid...then go directly to those areas and drive around a little until you can figure out how they got the block set up. From there I just cop and see if they got a number I can get
 
We have this thread in other forms somewhere, I know we do, I just cant find it. I feel like Swift Serenity of Bob created it....hmmm.. oh well.

For the record, if ANYONE starts sharing info on how to meet new dealers, im closing this down. This is everyone's one and only warning.

@thread: I have tons of dealers, and in no way am I posted anything about them. Those of you who post, all you do is bring attention to certain places, events, groups of people, etc. Think before you post.
 
My dealer is a really cool guy. He is somewhat well educated and often tries to help me through troubled parts of my life. I love him because hes also my doctor.
 
I've had a lot of dealers over the years. But I met my current main dealers through friends.
 
eh, actually, after reading thizzers warning, i think i probably should not post that. sucks, that was a long post.

I think they are merged in with basic heroin culture questions, and/or official heroin discussion. So basically the same thread but just focused on dope.

I remembered bc of the person that responded saying he met his dealer when [he ran up to my car yelling "I got that King Cobra nigga"!]
 
Where I live, everyone and their neighbor sells chronic bud. Thus, copping tree is never difficult and usually from a different person each week.

For everything else, there's MasterCard (or Western Union) [and Google].

I found my first connect working behind the deli counter at a supermarket.

My second worked also at the same supermarket as the first so I met him through the first guy.
 
Friends-weed,cocaine,pills,etc.
a few Cousins-anything i need
And for Heroin,at a coke dealers house,through his buddy who I Knew His whole family,and he got me the "raw" before it got cut anymore shit of the brick....My #1 guy still,always good shit,always weighs,and I buy 5 grams or more normally at a time so i get a little discount!! Going to stick with him till he gets outta the biz or gets busted.knock on wood.
 
I learned to play an instrument fairly well, ended up playing in bars and night clubs nightly by my late teens..... all I had to do really was open my eyes, drugs were everywhere and still are, people would give them to me at first, now they mostly just want to buy me drinks, fortunately I don't drink much anymore and it's easier to show up at work and treat it as work.

So in a sense what became my career introduced me to more shady drug addled night people with drug connections than I can count.

I work in the music business where drugs are easy to come by, but I think many people meet their dealers through their workplace(s) regardless of their job.
 
He pocket-dialed ME one day, like 3 months after I had given him my number blackout drunk. Steady connect since with the madness.
