How did you get off your butt today?

wtf does running backwards do besides make someone look like a total fucking idiot.

not much, unless you're doing 13 seconds for 100m, in which case you can be a world record holder while looking like total idiot. it's acceptable if you're practicing for a sport that involves backpedaling, otherwise...

OT: Today I round-tripped 10km on my bike. Extremely heavy winds almost threw me off my bike on the return ride.

^^Damn bro, 13 miles is good, especially if there was some kind of incline. How long did that take?

45 minutes weight training, probably do some jogging later.

Well I was going somewhere, so I used google maps to estimate the time so I wouldn't be late for my appointment.

I walked 6.1 miles, which on google maps estimates 2 hours 1 minute. I actually did it in about 1 hour 45 minutes.

I repeated the same trip back, only stopping to get food at a delicious restaurant, and to get a prescription filled. So since the pharmacy was a bit out of the way, I went back to maps google and it says...

6.7 miles back (I had to walk a few blocks out of the way just to stop at the pharmacy). The time for that is listed as 2 hours, 13 minutes. If you exclude the 15 minute wait at the pharmacy, and factor in I walk much quicker than the average person (and hence average estimated time on maps google is slower than I am), it probably took me about 2 hours to do the 6.7 mile leg.

Then I did two 0.8 mile small walks to go to get some food last night (apparently eating just one meal and walking so far is a bad idea lol), so all in all that totals up to be 14.4 miles. Each 0.8 mile distance is estimated at 15 minutes on maps google.

So adding up the miles, 14.4 miles, in about 4 and a half hours.

These figures are very exact; I used maps google to get an exact route for the way I took. I deliberately choose streets with less people on them/less traffic, for a more scenic route, and to be able to enjoy myself the most; as well as less waiting for traffic signals and stuff. It was one of the best days I have had walking in Los Angeles since moving here. It was just beautiful outside, on the way back I got to take my shirt off and have the wind cool me off while the sun beamed down on me, it was simply amazing. The neighborhoods I was walking through were so beautiful too.

30 minutes weight training immediately followed by 30 minutes cardio (running on treadmill)

^sounds lovely
