short 3miles today at lunch. my distance was broken by picking up a couple of pairs of shoes to be sent to the u.s. tomorrow.

the point is that,
just go!
you can make anothers day by risking seeming a little silly.
;)

walked towards the back of the store
saw this dude taller then me!
asked him, randomly and sternly if he played BbaLL
he looked at me trying not laugh and said
no
....
do you??
i said
no

i walked away as he was laughing.
~

got to the girl at the register and asked if she noticed that tall in the back
crassly

she paused and said oh yeah that tall guy in the back??

i replied yes, that he said he didnt play basketball,
i said i didnt either and probably for the same reason,
that we both suck at it.
~

then while walking home, turning the corner to my apartment, up the stairs someone i havent seen before right as we both were turning corner said Maria in a melodic voice, to which i said, when we met face, Ave, and he stood there looking at me stunned and happily.

4.24 miles at lunch today. nice.

but i've lost count... grrrr.

edit:
day 45
total done on foot 102.29 miles. :)

I just stretched out and am about to go pump some iron. Back and Bis today

Don't forget to stretch guys!

stretching rules, and thanks. my avatar needs to be updated with the new model just released last week.

i also did back and bis today (lats, forearms and abs too)

zumba last night with the crazy fast mexican dancer lady. holy frijoles I am sore today. It hurts to bend down to sit. Feels good man.

Getting off my butt now...Gym time. Gonna run hard for half an hour, go for a swim and then hit the steam room for 15 mins.

I forgot how good it feels to workout regularly. defintely a more stable feeling than sitting around getting fucked up

Back when I played Lacrosse I was so into fitness, hopefully I can get back to that level

did

3 sets of 33 push ups (34 on first set, do the math)
3 sets of 15 dips on my kitchen countertop
and I forget what theyre called officially but I have these flexible bands that you can wrap around something and workout with, been doing a bunch of stuff with that recently.
3 sets of 42 russian twists (21 times to each side, I like Hitchhikers Guide to the galaxy btw)

thats it for today it feels good to sit back and know you improved yourself instead of treaded water

Damn straight. I'm feeling blissfully relaxed after my workout.

I walked 3km, ran 6km, had a swim around the pool, then steam-roomed it for 10-15 mins. Was exactly what the doctor ordered.

I'm going to give my body another week until I get back into weights, but i'll be starting out on chest, triceps and biceps when i do. I've shrunk a bit so i'm looking forwards to building myself back up again.

just start off easy and work your way up

only jackasses look at how much other people lift and judge their physical strength off that

I mean a lot of times it does correctly correlate, but a lot of times people can lift a lot but are uncoordinated as shit.

Id rather have a good balance of both

im on a chin up program at the moment, only week 1 day 2 so todays set will be 2-2-2-2-MAX

I will probably do some back assistance work today.

In the last year, i have dropped 2 pant sizes and about 13 kilos.

My PT has me kicking PB's every week and im now squating 120kg and deadlifting 125kg. About 3 months ago, I would of been lucky to be doing half of that.

Future goals for this year are the City to Surf (14km, plan on doing it under 1:10), Sydney Half Marathon (21km, Happy with anything under 2 hours, which i should murder) and Tough Mudder in October... WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Yeah man makes sense. I have a reconstructed wrist so I won't start off too high. Defo need to work back up to where i used to be...and then some :D

I'm thinking of hitting the city to surf this year too, i have never done it. Plus heaps of my mates do tough mudder so might try that out as well. Gotta get back into shape first though, just starting out again

City to surf is pretty good fun, book early so you can get in a better social group, i have done the run4fun at homebush so i can be in a seeded group as such...
