How did you get off your butt today?

I took a couple days off from diet and exercise to recuperate from a couple days of being stupid, but back to it today - flat and incline bench, as well as tricep pulldowns. Then five miles on the exercise bike.

Feels good man. :)
 
Did my usual work-out at the gym. I've been managing to go every day and I can really start to feel a difference, it feels great :)

went on two very long and strenuous hikes this weekend. my ass is sore :)
 
...and I am the only one not trying to lose weight *sigh* They don't get the idea of maximal effort in a short period of time for cardio gains and caloric loss. I know something is better than nothing but walking a 5.4 mile trail in over 2 hours is ridiculous. Maybe when I am 70 years old that will be the goal. I feel like a bitch but they know me better than that.

you have no reason to focus on "losing weight"...maybe tone up but that's it, if it even is, PI. Don't be an ass/.

i won't be powerwalking every day, probably hit the gym tomorrow and the day after at lunch. At least my first week 7 mile quota is done, anything more now is profit.
 
After a huge snowstorm two weeks ago, and a smaller one last week, it's simply gorgeous outside... so I walked my dog for 1 hr this morning. He's in deep sleep now :)

day 3, decided to walk instead of gym since i forgot my headphones :!

this is my classic walk. chinatown to the quay and back again. seems inadequate now.
 
Lately I've been doing this in the morning

Dance like crazy for 15 minutes
10 jump squats
Crunches/ Pilates moves
10 push ups
A few yoga asanas

Feels great. And my confidence is up.
