Internet download manager to dl it as flash or mp4 to your hard drive
will check that out- 'free youtube downlaoder' is prompting me to update more often than not and i cannot update it w/o installing some toolbar so i won't update (cannot recall if i took spam as part of the orig.dl and then removed it, but fuck that i need a new video ripper :] )

If you use firefox as a browser, you can get some good addons that will give you the ability to download from youtube and other video hosting sites - with no toolbars or spam. I've been using them for ages, they're great :\

i do- i run a very very rigged up/customized firefox broser- not only did an hour+ not give me anything better than a standalone app, but firefox sucks in general and cannot wait to try chrome :)
[could not find a single add-on that worked properly- i actually started a therad in s&t to this effect. hit a point where it was easier to just run an app off my desktop for videos by copy/pasting the f'ing url's :| now that it's giving me update reminders that cause error w/ download like half the time, will be uninttalling soon i'm sure.
/like telling myself it's stupid to waste time on that- just get a new[read: faster] laptop already wherein url media doesn't need to be moved to my own hdd's.
//SOON.

Interesting, well I've actually just moved from chrome cos it was pissing me off, using water fox now the 64bit comp of firefox - works great. The addon I use for firefox for downloading is http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25105
Never had any problems with it, and it gives you a download button on the youtube website - click on it and you have a choice of flv or mp4 format. I use a converter to either change it or extract audio if i need to. Would recommend.

10K trail race in 2C sunny weather 53:52.32 8:46/M
2nd in my age group
77 out of 233 runners

My goal was 55 min or under but I wanted FIRST in my ag (there were 15 of us) WAH WAH WAH maybe I should not have walked so many times :) However, my pace is getting faster with each competition. Next race 10 miles (my first time with this distance) in March.

I tried a Budokon workout today

It was insane

Think Its a step too much for me atm, something I need to work upto

Really want to get into the Burning Palm Meditations( Garry Hearfield)
Just started on Bak Fu Sunn Yee Gung

I really love this clip, the iron palm is almost hypnotic in its sound as he hits the bags and trees and very meditative and metronomic

5.4 mile hike with the dog in 1 hour and 20 minutes. I met 2 friends at 9am and said let's get this done in 90 minutes. There is really no reason not to be done in that amount of time. They were not interested so I forged ahead alone. I said call on me once you are back to a 15 min/mile or better pace. Later, de-motivators.

...and I am the only one not trying to lose weight *sigh* They don't get the idea of maximal effort in a short period of time for cardio gains and caloric loss. I know something is better than nothing but walking a 5.4 mile trail in over 2 hours is ridiculous. Maybe when I am 70 years old that will be the goal. I feel like a bitch but they know me better than that.

I think if I walked 5.4miles in over 2 hours I'd gain weight, you need to push the boundaries of what you are capable of while you can, no sense letting others hold you back....keep up the pace and enjoy the rush

100 miles in 100 days: day 1, 6.38km (3.96 miles).
96.04 miles to go.

i'll do this predominantly in lunch hour walks.

Did a run, and threw in some stops where we did arm dips and pull ups along the route. My arms are like JELLY but I intend to improve my arm strength and tone gradually. Liking this addition. :)
