How could I sleep on long lasting stimulants?

Forever lost within the 99 percent
Hi. This may seem basic, but it's important! How could I sleep on something long lasting. I usually sleep like a rock for 8 hours straight. Every other stimulant I've tried were mild(though very adrenergic) and short lasting to intermediate lasting. Since trying prolintane though, I've had much more trouble falling asleep and trouble staying asleep. Prolintane seems to last FOREVER! forever like over 18 hours. Apparently the complex prolintane molecule is very resistant to metabolization. What do I do? 25mg hydroxyzine only sort of worked, but my sleep was choppy and the combined choppy sections of sleep amounted to no more than 7 hours. Then I tried ZzzQuil 30ml(Diphenhydramine HCl 50 mg) and hydroxyzine 25mg and that only semi worked(my mom was waking me up early and that made me angry and I was yelling "leave me alone!" because I wanted to sleep). The economy's pretty crappy these days, but that's besides the point.
How do I sleep!? Maybe 2 doses of Zzzquil taken at 7:00p.m. or 9:00p.m. or something? I hate when I have to be busy in the morning without getting a good night's sleep, and it's upsetting! I usually take prolintane with absolutely no caffeine. By the way, today I decided to try 16mg of prolintane and an energy drink. It's pretty subtle. The lowest dose of prolintane so far and it's cool feeling. Apparently the caffeine removes any fatigue I was feeling while the prolintane at this lower dose is providing the neurochemicals for productivity and focus in a subtler way. Though I MUST SLEEP!!!!!
I'm pretty tolerant to caffeine(except for the urine effects).
What do I do to sleep? :?
I hate not having a good night sleep which prompts me to take prolintane.
If I don't get a good night sleep, sooner or later I'll end up feeling sad and blue or something. :(
I miss a good night sleep. I don't want to go and say "RIP good night's sleep". 8(
Maybe I'll go with the 2 ZzzQuil doses I guess, though I still hope to get more suggestions. :\
The prolintane is starting to become more apparent I guess. Also that all to similar greater need to stay organized and increased thinking and connections and that urge to keep a conversation going. :\

My suggestion would be take less prolintane or use it less often since it's messing up your sleep.

There really is nothing you can do short of taking less as T.C. suggested, taking it earlier, or just stop taking it. Not being able to sleep is the main reason why I hate stimulants. Once you take something that promotes wakefulness and energy you are not going to be able to take something low end like melatonin or DPH and expect to sleep. Dont get stuck in the cycle of not sleeping so you take more and repeat, it will destroy you in a short time. Take some time off and recoup.

OK. Maybe I just need a break from the prolintane and also going to bed earlier. I hope I could take a break as prolintane is supposed to have a good safety profile. :\ I hope it's going to be OK and not KO, hahaha! KO! :D Probably a lame joke though. :p

Eventually you can overcome the side effect. Unless I've had a lot of stimulants, I can sleep fine, which wasn't the case before.

Dosing earlier and getting a tolerance should solve this, although there's also things like benzos, melatonin, alcohol, etc, which can help if you used stims in the morning and they are past the half life point. Just check for interactions first.

Still, if you take stims right before bed they will pretty much keep you awake guaranteed if you have no tolerance. Psychedelics like LSD are even worse for this in my experience, I cannot sleep at all on them.

So yeah, just dose earlier and/or wait until your tolerance builds to them. I mean pretty much anyone who is new with like energy drinks and caffeine will be wired, but drinking them regularly will pretty much make this not a problem.

Some even have a paradoxical effect which I can attest to, where stimulants are pretty much needed to actually sleep (mainly chronic meth users). Caffeine works like this for me now, for some reason.

Thanks! I've decided to not try prolintane for a few days. It's going pretty well so far. I might have focus on going to bed early the day before stimulant use so I could wake up earlier and take the stimulant earlier in the morning instead of around noon. Like I said, prolintane has a pretty long half life. Prolintane's duration is anywhere from 7 hours to over 16 hours.

Tolerance and dosing earlier did help. Also taking prolintane less often helped. Though lately, prolintane became less hyper and functional and is getting more edgy.

One pitfall of using medications to counter stimulants and allow you to sleep is that often times your sleep quality will go to total shit afterwards. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure when it comes to this, the best option is to take prolintane as early as possible in the morning, don't redose, and eat lots of stuff to acidify your urine around dinner/bedtime.
