Misc How could I get rid of Zopiclone (Imovane) dependence ?

My previous psychiatrist prescribed me Zopiclone (Imovane) and I'm still on it after 1.5 year.

The drug doesn't work as it used to, long time ago.

My new psychiatrist would like to get me off these but it seems to be one of the hardest drug to get off.

Any suggestions?
 
The standard approach would be to switch to diazepam and taper off.

Do you experience withdrawal between doses or has it simply losts its effectiveness?
