I get suboxon from walgreens, I got a written perscription and I wondered if I go to a local pharmcey and tell them I don't have insurance is there anyway they can see I get in from walgreens? Or even know I do have insurance. I want to pay cash I have my reason for this. But is there anyway they can tell if let's say I'm early? Or that I use walgreens? I know in the old days they couldn't tell but I wondered if things have changed I believe I'm few days early I could wait I just wasn't too know if they will have any idea or if there not connected at all.

Yeah, it is called the prescription monitoring program. Basically every pharmacy has to report on a weekly basis all the controlled drugs they dispensed. I do not know if all states report how it was paid for (cash, private insurance, medicaid) but many do.

Right but does it link up if you pay cash one place abd insurance another? I would be getting them that day or does that mean it might mess me up later down the road?

If you do it the same day you can probably beat it that one time. They will report regardless how you pay, but as you said you could fuck yourself for the future.

He could look it up if he wanted to do so. It is not out of the realm of possibility that a pharmacist could call him as well.

Bummer I got you, so it's hit or miss, I got a better chance just calling doctor and trying get early release or my needs uped. I can't risk it

Yea I mean I might do it, I been asking for a half strip raise in my meds for months, I been on it five years and I'm going through a hard time, my friend over dosed in my sober living house and I found him, my iron is so low I'm getting weekly iv bags do I'm super tired and for first time in years my craving are back I mean I'm looking for a extra ten strips a month I just tired of feeling this way the subs help and I know once my iron goes up I'll be ok again but in mean time in struggling to stay sober but I can't make him listen, I just thought I could refill few days early off insurance with my extra refill sense it's on paper then refill like normal using insurance at my regular pharmacy, sounds like it might work but might isn't worth losing suboxon. Thanks for the reply I appreciate it

How early is a few days? If its 2 or 3 it is probably no biggie. Also its suboxone not oxycodone. It is meant to be used to prevent situations such as yours. If calling the doctor for an increase is out of the question, ask the pharmacist. Most, despite what people think are compassionate. To be honest, I have read that only like 30% of healthcare providers access the system regularly but Walgreens absolutely will. Try the mom and pop. You have the fact that is their own money on your side.

I wouldn't risk going to another pharmacy, it's better to talk with your doctor if you need more prescribed. I have to close this, since prescription filling questions like this aren't allowed. You can message me if you have any questions. Wish you luck!
