Heroin How common is fentanyl-cut dope?

I've always heard about stamps cut with fent but I've never come across them myself that I know of. I've taken fentanyl on it's own before and can't imagine it being economical to cut dope with, given how expensive it is. I would think it would be easier to find a cheaper painkiller to cut with. Has anyone here come across it with any regularity?

Wondering myself the same, bunch of overdoses around me and they are saying this is why.

im sure its cheaper than heroin if you have a chemist working for you producing near pure fent. If you know what you are doing 1 gram of fentanyl could add an extra punch to a lot of stamps or make 100 grams of a very potent fentanyl/lactose heroin substitute.

obviously using fent in this manner is incredibly dangerous. there will be hotspots in the "dope" and people OD.

Much more common than you would think. Like someone already mentioned if you have a chemist working for a large criminal organization it can actuall be cheaper to produce & put some extra oomph onto weak H. If you think about it with all the different fent analogs & other opies out there now who knows for sure what's in a bag of "dope". Also if nobody is ODing & the bags are just good nobody would ever question what is truly in them. So IMO it's a very common occurrence.

Look at the news articles on the east coast right now about it. Fent cut dope has killed over 80 people on the east coast since September. Every few years, a batch goes around and causes havoc. Is it common? I mean, compared to all the non-fent cut dope out there, it's a very small percentage, however it's so dangerous that when it does happen, as in the case of on the east coast right now, it kills a lot of people.

Fentanyl is rather cheap to make/divert per dosage unit compared to poppy alkaloids (relatively easy synthesis if you can get your hands on the precursors, ~40x stronger than heroin per mg...), the trouble is that its theraputic index is much lower than morphine/heroin (the amount it takes to get high is much closer to the LD50). So whenever some genius gets the idea to cut his heroin with fent to bulk it out (or just make fake gear), people who like to "push the limit" end up ODing.

It doesn't help that fentanyl is widely regarded as less euphoric than heroin, so people tend to do more anyway...

Didn't realize fent could be so cheap to make. The rash of deaths on the east coast is what made me ask. I haven't come across any dope cut with fent (AFAIK). Sounds like there's a lot going around now though.

Ime I had around 2-3 batches of dope that must have had something more in them, whether it was fent or an analog I'm not sure, but it was with one of those batches that I truly saw the edge, I was teetering right there on the edge of either being very very high and fucking loving it or being dead. Best be careful east coast BLers! Always try a test shot before blasting off into opiate bliss.

Btw I'm in NC, so anyone in NC, especially in the Greensboro area beware. Fent dope is here.

There was fentanyl cut scramble floating around my circle of dealers, december to mid january, baltimore maryland. I had to cut my normal dose down to nearly half at the caution of the main dealers who warned us about it. They couldn't keep up the recipe for long though...it went back to regular scramble a few weeks ago, still great quality though.

Nobody can really say for sure how common it is...Heroin comes into the US from different points of entry across every border from thousands of different sources all the time. Then, it generally goes through several other parties before it reaches the consumer. It's several times as potent as heroin by weight, and it's been finding it's way onto the streets being sold as "heroin" for decades. It's really irritating how the media keeps re-writing the same stories over and over again and reporting them as "new drug trends"...It's even more annoying that people actually fall for it and think "fentanyl laced dope" is some new thing...

Also, where are people coming up the whole "It's too expensive to produce" thing? I'd really to know where people are getting this from...Unless you're the guy processing heroin from poppies or importing the bulk precursors needed to make fentanyl, how would you know? Given the potency by weight of fentanyl, it would have to cost a fortune for it not to turn a profit on the illegal market...Does it require platinum to produce, I just don't understand...

Lots of fentakill cut stuff in East Baltimore blocks, please if you're going to do heroin always test the waters first and if it's a regular supplier ASK HIM about it... If you don't IV, do not start.. Do not peer pressure or that stupid rush get to you, HEROIN DESTROYS your life either quickly or slowly.. Please be safe and of course, stay informed... The only really true way to know what you got is a standard GC/MS test... In all honestly please stop before you get ahead of yourself or you just might find yourself lying face down dead.. STAY INFORMED, STAY SAFE.

I'm not into opiates at all, really. An occasional quarter pill to last a little longer, if you catch my drift, but it has popped onto my radar that Baltimore has a bit of an issue with this. Also, that slogan should replace those tired out dare shirts...
