How come the firecracker didn't work?

I'm 191 lbs and just ate dinner about 6 hours ago.

I made a firecracker using a guide with about 1g of good weed, ate it two hours ago, and am feeling nothing at all other than mild sedation. It's making me mad because if i'd just have smoked the 1g it'd have gotten me high as hell.

How long did you heat it? How hot? What method of preparation and heat did you use?
