I've noticed after I rolled.
That I cannot sleep the following day.
How can I cure this?
Also how can I eat afteR?

Just because you don't feel high doesn't mean the drug is out of your system. The day after using there will still be a modest amount of MDMA in your system, causing a stimulant effect a bit like caffeine.

The loss of appetite is also probably partly due to drugs still floating around in your system (although fatigue/stress can also play a role.) Generally 'inoffensive' foods like soft fruit (bananas, peaches, etc.) and fruit juice are easy to handle, although it's good to get some protein as well. A protein shake can be a lot easier to put down than 'real food'.

How many pills do you take? Maybe try dosing less, so there is less MDMA in your system once you go to bed. Be more active while you are rolling to tire out your body and make it easier to fall asleep. You could also rest later in the day or go to bed early the next night. That's what I usually do.

It's normal to be unable to eat the next day. Have food available that you really like so you'll be more inclined to eat. Drink orange juice or a smoothie instead of solid food.

Ecstasy is an amphetamine. Amphetamine as in speed. Some people are more sensitive to its stimulant effects than other.

Try getting cleaner pill with the use of a test kit and/or pillreports.com

Take lower dosages

Take it earlier in the evening

Serotonin helps you sleep, which is why even after taking pure MDMA, you may still have problems sleeping. If you are taking untested pills, and have a real hard time sleeping, you probably got a methbomb or piped. Nonetheless, take 100mg of 5-HTP and you should be able to sleep better. Weed/Benzos/Alcohol also help. Eat little things the next day, maybe like some fruit, then later maybe a peanut butter sandwich, then lastly yogurt or something. Instead of eating a couple large meals, eat small meals, when you feel like your body would naturally be hungry (if you lack an appetite).

Agreed with everyone else -- if you're having a moderately hard time sleeping, it's because MDMA is a stimulant in its own right. If you're totally strung out and unable to stop your mind from racing for days after use, you probably took more standard amphetamine/meth than MDMA.

In addition to 5-HTP, you might want to try supplementing with melatonin before bed, which you can find at any vitamin store or even many supermarkets. Melatonin is a hormone that controls your circadian rhythm and is synthesized from serotonin. This is just my pet theory, but I believe that a shortage of serotonin also leads to a shortage of melatonin, which would cause difficulty sleeping after using MDMA. Try it and let us know if it helps. :)

I have found that taking 100 mg of 5-htp helps to put me to sleep. Taking a PM (such as tylenol PM for example) can also help you in getting to sleep, but taking something like that is going to put you out for awhile and could make you feel groggy. Benzos such as diazapam or clonazapam can also work wonders in this situation as well.

I have heard that taking melatonin won't help that much unless you have been taking the supplement for awhile. Taking it as situational sleep aid may not work that well as your system hasn't had time to adjust to it. I will try to see if I can find a scientific source for that information. Stay tuned. :)

I have trouble sleeping after a roll. Everyone else is asleep but me. Rolls are tested so no issues there. I am thinking about trying the melatonin. I am looking for something safe to take to sleep after the roll. Really not wanting to take benzos.

Melatonin before going to bed helps my sleep schedule a LOT. I fall asleep easier and wake up early and refreshed.
Eating a small snack before bed helps me too.

As stated before, your pills may be the culprit. Perhaps you might be adulterated with amphetamine/meth, but you should know your body chemistry better than I do.

Does it happen with different pills too? Test any of them?

Culprit pills man
I did a lot of MDMA for a weekend and could sleep easily each night
melatonin is worth it

As above posters said, cleaner pills. But since it isn't a perfect world, sadly, that isn't always an option.

Some good bud helps me, I think. It kinda gets me strung out and higher for a bit, but instead of slowly waiting for the sleep to come, I'm tripping out a bit, and then I sober up a bit and go into hibernate mode :). I've never actually kept track of the time, but either way, it's much more enjoyable than laying in bed, waiting [x] hours to fall asleep, imo.

I think also that it has alot to do with seretonin too. Seretonin is thought to be key in regulating sleep patterns. That combind with stimulant effects is just asking for a few sleepless nights.

the only reason why serotonin is key in regulating sleep patterns is because it's a precursor to melatonin - which is why melatonin helps

I find that when taking pure MDMA, I have no trouble falling asleep almost directly after it wears off (T + 6:00 hrs., approx.), but I can only sleep for approximately 5 hrs., waking up early and relatively un-rested.

I hypothesize that this has something to do with the role of serotonin in regulating circadian rhythms. I haven't yet tried melatonin, nor have I 5htp, to combat this side-effect. I really should. :)

No, I believe that serotoneric transmission emanating from the ralphae nuclie itself plays a significant role in regulating circadian rhythms.
