how come i cant drink on somas?

It says on the bottle not to drink on them. Can i have a beer like later in the day when the effect wheres off?
 
As it's a depressant drug, combining it with other downers (ie. alcohol) can potentiate this effect. Should be OK to just have a beer if it's been a while since you dosed though.
 
Mixing alcohol with a barbituate-like substance isn't such a great idea. Speaking from personal experience, it feels quite nasty, very toxic on the body. Think it's safe enough to have a beer, after a few half-life or two of the drug tho, why not? Somas and alcohol are both substances that are enjoyable, but not together.
