How can you potentiate amphetamines? (Unsure)

I've read a few threads that go back a few years, and none of them sound very certain, so I'll ask for 2011. 8)

What are some ways to potentiate amphetamines? (If it matters, I have a special blend of methaphetamines and amphetamines.)

*Side question: How will caffeine effect the drug when combined?

Thanks a 1,000,000

I try to follow the site rules, but I'm human, I mess-up sometimes. If anything in this thread breaks any rules, please delete/fix it. And I apologize. Thanks again. :)

Make your stomach less of an acidic environment and more alkali.. Amphetamines are removed from your blood stream alot quicker in an acidic environment.. eat a few tums an hour before using amphetamine. (Bicarbonate of soda works fine too)..

I wouldn't bother with the caffeine.. will probably just put extra strain on your heart without increasing the high..

This is better suited for Basic Drug Discussion so I'll toss her off that way for ya.

I'll be insufflating the substance, does the acidic tip still apply?

yes. tums will also make one's urine more alkaline causing a reduction in the rate at which AMPH is excreted. the amount of potentiation, in my experience, is quite variable. please be aware that this can significantly potentiate one's AMPs. it would probably be a good idea to give this method a try with a lower dose than you'd normally take just to get a feel for it.

caffeine won't add anything to the experience in my opinion.

lastly, the nootropic Piracetam is also known to potentiate stimulants. something worth looking into.

anyway, good luck, stay safe. i'll be curious to hear how well tums/baking soda work for you.

vvViolet is right, sometimes the Tums method works too well, start with a lower dose of your amphetamines when you try the Tums method, you may find that not only is it good for potentiation, but it helps you save your amphetamines.

Caffeine is an option, it works better if you have a tolerance for caffeine anyway, a lot of users of stimulants already have a tolerance for caffeine so drinking coffee or an energy drink is normal for them and it would just be normal for them to do this while on amphetamines. It does put more strain on your heart AND sodas are acidic, so drinking a Coca-Cola or something with your Adderall actually reduces the effectiveness of the amphetamines in the long run.

In my experience, there are a few ways to get more from your speed.
1) Insufflate 3/4 your normal recreational dose and a few milligrams of alprazolam (or comparable amount of another benzodiazepine): For me, this will take the speedy edge off, while lengthening and intensifying the euphoria.
2) Insufflate a normal dose and anywhere from 15-45mg of oxycodone (or comparable amount of other opiate. I do not recommend mixing methadone with anything though, due to the long half-life): This is, of course, is a variety of speedball and can be dangerous if one ingests too much of either substance.
3) Insufflate 3/4-whole dose and ingest 1-3 alcoholic drinks (1 drink being roughly equal to 1 shot of 80 proof liquor): This is probably the most dangerous, in my opinion, as I have experienced more negative side effects from this. However, the euphoria induced by has an increased length and intensity.
These are the combinations I've used most frequently, and if done properly can have you pretty lit up xD

U can take zoloft

never heard of Zoloft being used as an AMP potentiator. the research on Zoloft + AMP is contradictory. some studies have concluded that it potentiates AMP-induced hyperactivity in mice. have you actually used Zoloft to potentiate AMPs? if so, how well did it work?

edit: i totally didn't realize that Zoloft (and Prozac) exhibit inhibitory action on CYP isozymes; CYP 450 in particular. my apologies. now i am quite curious about the strength of this method of potentiation. nevertheless, i don't really like the idea of an acute high dose of an SSRI in any circumstance really. still curious though...
