In my pants
I've been smoking every single day for about 3 weeks now. I've noticed that I've been increasing my amounts. I want to slow it down so I don't build up a tolerance. It was really cheap at first, but now I need a lot more than at first, and I can't afford it.

But I can't stop thinking about weed (I have none).

You just have to take a break. As far as the cravings go you just have to fill your time with something healthy. I know, easier said than done but if you really can't afford it what other choices do you have? I think you will be happy after taking a break and might even consider taking them more often.

Honestly you just need to stop for 3 to 5 days and all the withdrawals and your cravings for weeds will be over. A little break will help you a lot.

Set a time that you will smoke. Say you wont start till after 6pm. Get all your shit done in the day have a shower then chill out and smoke. Sometimes works for me. Sometimes i wake up and am bored as hell and end up smoking tho

If I could find a solid way to quit I would take a stab at it. I have smoked every day for the past few years, and I wouldn't say the negatives are HUGE, but they do exist. I used to smoke all day every day but now I basically don't smoke during the daylight unless it's Friday or Saturday. That helps a little.
There is just nothing else that calms me down and relaxes me after a long day like weed. Especially now that I'm studying for final exams and taking my adderol again regularly, I need nugs to sleep. Smoking makes it tough to get out of bed in the morning though.

Quit or cut way back if you have a tolerance and want to get rid of it.

There's not really any other way IME. Find other things to do besides smoking.

I find a bit of exercise helps - mainly because it gets me out of the house and into the sun. Go for a run when you feel like a joint and get some simple weights to use in front the telly of an evening when you're at your most vulnerable. Nothing serious. You'll start to feel that your body is important and you'll like looking good. It will act as strength against a craving.

Doesn't work for everyone though...

I went to a friend's house, which took my mind off of things. But then we got into a conversation about weed.

It's like I went for a walk to get some fresh air and a random man jumped out from behind the bushes and jizzed all over my face.

Well, maybe they're not that alike.

just flippen stop it isnt addictive. if you think you are addicted you aren't. you really just need to go a day with out it and then continue on from there.

in my opinion the best way to stop for a day is go to someone's house who has 0 weed and just let the person who's house you went to entertain you all day without weed!

Ive had to start and stop smoking probably around 40 times now (Periodic drug testing). And I can honestly say that im approaching a certain average amount of weed I go through. Basically when I started, I would smoke way more than I wanted to for a week or 2 then stop for a couple days
(to clean up for a test, now voluntarily)and let my tolerance drop, then start again. Slowly I smoking less and taking shorter breaks, I feel that i will find a balance that I am comfortable with

wtf does stopping for a day prove

very simply just stop. Its not an addictive drug. When you stop and take a break, get your self a case or so to last you a week, you will love your first day back

i think weed is addictive IMO. i use to smoke all day everyday, but ive cut back to once or twice a day. everyone else hit it right on the head tho....excersise helps me a TON to not smoke as much. keep your mind/body busy, and its really easy to not smoke as much

When I am out of weed and I can't stop thinking about it I enjoy meditating. If you want to stop smoking so much then cut down on how many sessions you have during a day(I enjoy being high all day just as much as the next guy, but its costly). If you want to take a break just practice some self control. Don't worry, you'll get high again :)

Maybe find something to fill your time that takes a lot of concentration that you normally would not have if you were stoned. Perhaps model building or shop work?

I've been smoking every day for literally 3 years. If I knew how to stop I would probably do it much less, but I just can't think of a good reason to. One time I was seriously considering quitting and then smoked like 10 minutes later and was like "I feel fucking great right now, why would I ever want to stop doing this?"

I do find that there are ways to taper off of weed though. Like telling yourself you will only smoke past a certain time at night, not smoke during the weekdays, etc.
