How can i raise my tolerance?

I know usually it is the opposite way, but i used to smoke for 3 years straight but than i got arrested and drug tested. I was sober for 6 months, and now i began smoking weed again. The problem is i enjoy having the flavorful taste of a big ass joint or yummy bong rips, but i cant. I can only take 2 hits from a little pipe and i feel like im on LSD. I get way too high, and sometimes anxiety which never happened.
TL:DR How can i raise my weed tolerance as fast as possible
 
Keep smoking your pipe. everyday, multiple times a day. After a week you should have built a tolerance back to it.
 
smoke as much as you can handle, as often as you can handle it
smoke during the middle of your days, i can smoke tons more during the day than when i wake up or am getting ready for sleep
 
I can understand that...often I find weed to just be too strong. I've been smoking more often lately and the anxious feelings have been decreasing. I've also found that hash preferable, a much more relaxed high.

I think we really need to "learn" to enjoy and handle the effects of weed, they are not inherently pleasurable. So many people mention that one day they just stop liking the effects and it always causes paranoia/anxiety from that point. I do think this is more psychological than biochemical.
 
What does it for tolerance, based on friends who've really pushed up their tolerance, is smoking to stay high. So, light up in the morning. When you start coming down, take another hit. You'll be complaining about how weed doesn't get you high anymore in no time!
I don't know anyone who stays high all day who hasn't built up a tolerance.

Also, a related trick that i have used before going to parties where i want to smoke weed, but know my tolerance isn't sufficient to smoke with the others there - The first high of the day is always stronger. Take a hit earlier in the day, such that you're mostly down when it comes time to smoke with others. The weed will not effect you as strongly as it would have if it was the first time you smoked that day.
Certainly, thats how it works for me - if i take a couple big rips from the bong when i havn't smoked yet, i'll likely end up too high. But if i smoke less, I can smoke that much to extend my high without a problem.

As well, you'll build a tolerance quicker if you smoke 2 grams over the course of a day than 2 grams in one session. So, if you're trying to build a tolerance, just smoke whenever you don't feel high, and after 3-7 days you should notice it.
 
Enjoy your low tolerance!!! Simply smoking more often will increase your tolerance my good man, that's the only sure-fire way. You will get your tolerance back quiet soon if you smoke regularly.

This.

Even if you just smoke on weekends only you'll still wind up getting a tolerance.
 
i think there is a tolerance plateau.....
meaning you aren't going to always increase the amount you smoke to get high.

at some point you are smoking the same amount each time and still getting high.

Like me for example, i smoke every day. but i can still get high off a few bongers in the morning every morning. after 5 years shouldn't i need to smoke like an eighth each morning?

not really on topic but it came up in the thought train.

well if you smoked for like 3 years straight - I'm guessing you had quite tolerance? Being consistently stoned is a good way to do it, but why on earth would you ever want to get a tolerance back?? I am never looking back - tolerance is lame, it eats up your weed like a fucker - I can stretch an 8th to last me 2 weeks these days, and love getting high!

It's just realizing your anxiety you get comes from you not being used to your heartrate skyrocketting - just count up to 4 reasonably slowly while inhaling through your nose, and exhale through your nose counting down another 4.

Do this a few times til your anxiety is gone - there! BINGO! No need for a stupid tolerance, and you'll still be able to smoke all night if you feel like it.

Occasionally you feel like you're too high, but some OJ and deep breathing sorts that out momentarily.

honestly its for the reason of wanting the flavor of the joint. I understand how low tolerance is good, trust me i used to smoke an 8th over a day or two easily, but getting so high is not fun cause i love the action of smoking. I was curious if i were to eat very very small bites of an edible, not even enough to really feel it but just to have the thc enter more into my system, would that increase it.
