And being banned from the site would mean that you'd have to have done something to hurt us.

And hurting us would make us sad pandas.

So... don't 'retire' in such a way.

Would be a shame.

But, to answer your question, if you do something really really bad and get banned, then you're an ex-bluelighter.
 
All you need to do to become an ex-Bluelighter is to stop visiting Bluelight.

If you've lost interest, having a line through your username shouldn't be worth caring about.

And then you still have the option of coming back at a later date, if you feel like it.
 
But what's with Enki? I'm sure he didn't go troll and get banned but for some reason his name's striked and got ex-bluelighter under it.

As someone who modded 3 forums (including this one), was one of the most valuable accounts on the site, and a generally pleasant personality; I have deduced that he must have asked someone to ex-bluelight him. I'm sure it can be done; ya just gotta know the right people and have them be willing to do it for you.
 
^ What happened with Enki is between him and the BL staff. We cannot and will not discuss it here. It has nothing to do with knowing the right people. That is as much as will be said about that.
 
T'sall good man. Didn't mean to pry, didn't know it was sensitive and all.. Just posting about the OP's question; by visibly seeing it be done we know for sure that it can be done. I'm not particularly interested in his situation personally; I was just using the technicalities as fodder for the conversation at hand.

In any event, I think that all of his posts are still here, and most people just want their posts removed when they say they want to become an ex-bluelighter.
