Heroin How bad is Black Tar for you, really?

I have a huge tolerence for opiates I was on 165mg of methadone a day for over a year and after I stopped going to the clinic I had no other option other than tar due to money problems and losing one of my jobs ... At first a half of a .1 would get me well and feeling good now it takes about a .1 to do the job and it has been over six months and I still get wercked from $10-$15 worth of tar and I live in central cali... so I guess its all in what you get and from whom you get it from...

I spent a very long time searching for good tar in my West Southern Coast area.. I went from shit that looked and smelled like it had sand - from the beach - mixed in, to some shit that was like gooey chocolate syrup that yielded a very nauseous, euphoria-less high - but a high nonetheless..
Finally, I found the good stuff. I checked it against many many others who were getting other stuff, and I created instant converts. This stuff is def black tar, but it's not disgusting in its consistency/smell/etc.. it actually seems like the cleanest tar possible. I've missed shots a million times, and never had an abcess. Just the redness from a foreign liquid beneath the skin. So, this stuff is still really bad for the veins, though.

That's what pisses me off. But I'm quite tolerant - and one dose? bag? will have me nodding off and drifting into funny dreams for at least 45min, after which I am in a dozing, tranquil state of pure relaxation. Must be the opiate cocktail in tar I so often hear of.

Tar is always different, sometimes rock hard and glassy, sometimes super sticky and gooey, sometimes a more or less powder that melts or goopifies instantly when handled.

Yes, we are inclined to think that if the OP is injecting one gram of tar at a time, it is likely that he must be getting the lowest quality product possible, but how do we know? It is not that far fetched that someone could have that high of a tolerance to need one gram per dose to get the desired high they are seeking. I mean, there are surely people that use such amounts of the better/best quality tar/powder at a time.

I got a new batch and it barely smells of vinegar, the last batch that I used while writing this had the same consistency but a strong vinegar smell. I have yet to try this, but I suspect it's garbage. It does not have an opium smell either. I really wonder what the hell is in it. For those wondering about my tolerance, it is quite high. A morning shot to get rid of the sickness is at min 120mg oxycodone, but when available I would usually do 160-240mg per shot, up to 900-1000 a day.

I thought my habit was bad when I was IV'in 300-400mg/day (scripted).

Black tar heroin is a relatively new phenomenon- 1980's-present. Mexican Heroin was predominately brown powder from at least the 40's-70's. Still around today, BTH is more dominate.

I'd like to bring up this thread. The batch I bought the last and final time was no more than 5-10% pure. It had the faintest scent of acetic acid and produced a coffee & molasses taste when IV'ed. I could barely fit enough in a rig to make me not sick. My vein would give up before I could get 50 units in. If I re-registered there was no blood, and forcing the rest down was painful but I did not miss. It was awful especially considering the last batch was worth buying in bulk; not suspecting anything different I bought half an ounce. Never again.

I'm back on suboxone and want to kick for a long time. That's why I've been hiding in the shadows, and will most likely now return, if anyone noticed or cared.

just sounds like the tar you got/were getting was really shitty quality. here in Texas, the tar is pretty decent. I have only gotten absolute shit once, and that took about 200mgs to feel a buzz with a tolerance.

All I can say is that here in Tennessee a gram of would probably be equivalent to somewhere around 400mg of OC and you can get it for about half the price

I used to know a guy who sold tar out of his apartment on the north side of Chicago. This was 2004-2005. How easy it was then to score I miss those days.

I guess I'm just spoiled, having lived on the east coast all of my life - but from what I've read, tar sounds terrible. I understand that it can be just as "good" as #4... But damn, give me some off-white powder any day of the week.

There is plenty of tar in SoCal that is somewhere around 60-80% pure, and does not turn into a syrupy molasses mixture. You do not need an entire G to feel it - no way - a whole G would effin kill even me. Ouch, death.

I know the stuff you refer to, and hate that it even exists.. How can any such business of selling garbage actually continue to survive? I don't get it.

Look around, ask the right people, and you will find stuff that will surprise you.. hopefully when you do, the surprise will be a good thing, not a life-ending thing.

Indeed, I kind of agree with you. After trying out some said powder, I never wanted to stop getting it.. but alas, I don't live out there...was just visiting.

To be honest, though - the right tar - the kind that comes up from MX and hasn't been cut yet, is quite good, and not so acidic. Closer to a 5 in pH.

Blood pH is tightly regulated between 7.35 and 7.45. If only I could figure out a way to raise the pH of tar without losing any..

My tolerance is through the roof. The thing with tar though is that not only do you get addicted to the heroin but all the other alkoloids(sp) in it. Oxy hardly does anything for me, I did 300mg and I was still feeling some withdrawals.

I used to only have to do like .1g of tar to get good but now I can shoot like .6 and barely get high. So I said screw shooting and started plugging it and it does the job as well as smoking it. I wore out my receptors so much that I don't get rushes no more from shooting it.

The tar that we get up here in the AK is usually always very good a half tenth of the stuff we get up here can easily kill you.I have seen people do up to .5 gram shots but that have been doing it on a daily basis for sometime. We also pay $50 dollars a tenth of here so no one is going to buy the shit you are speaking of down south.

Most of our tar is coming fro Oregon or Washington with a little bit coming from Cali.Because we pay $50 a tenth the people selling it have no need to cut it because they are making plenty of profit shipping it from the lower 48 and paying anywhere from a fourth to a third of the price.When I need to make money i cut my tar with old coffee grounds to weigh the product down,when you cook it up the grounds float to the top and you can filter them out with cotton.

The tar I get melts down to a light brown solution and usually comes in powder when buying in bulk and then they breathe on it and turn it into tar to break it down to tenths since its easier to handle that way.Ive missed tons of times and never had an abcess and ive only met 1 or 2 people who have had them.

No, not a single west-coaster in this thread has become "offensive" (even though you obviously meant "offended" lol)..
I recently went on a freakin H-Rollercoaster in NY/NJ with all your marvelous "#4" powder.. hahaha Yeah, it's #4 - and so is any other Heroin Hydrochloride preparation.l
It was definitely really good - I was lucky in getting bundle after bundle of good (6.5 and above in quality rated here on BL) stuff..

And I was feeling really indignant towards tar.. I was sick of the ridiculous cuts and gnarly acidity.. but the most hilarious thing happened.. I still had powder when I got back here to Cali.. So on the day I ran out of my precious east coast powder, I was introduced to someone who was getting "uncut" black tar.. meaning, it was the final product of the process they use in MX, and had never been cut, because the supplier is a supplier to suppliers hahah No regular "dealers" in that line-of-service..
I went home, fixed up a .2 of this "uncut" tar.. and bam - no burn, no pins/needles... only a smooth, beautiful high that couldn't be differentiated from powder - no joke, no competitiveness..
I seriously couldn't walk right.. even the 10 feet from the room I was in, to the back door to have a smoke.. I just kind of flopped onto the couch, halfway, and lay there, amazed that .2 of tar just fucked me up way more than 2 stamps, easily. I was already slamming 5 stamps at once, by the time I was done with them. They were the "Gotham City" and "FLOW" stamps.

Those of you who have had such bad, bad luck in finding good tar, I am sorry. I wish you could have found something better. Perhaps it really is proximity to the border.. I always hear that Norcal/Oregon/Washington tar is complete garbage, and it makes sense.

Technically it is not all that bad for you. It is not neurotoxic like Meth or Ex. It is easy to overdose though if you are not careful. For me, the potency is always the same. It various from each bag, of course, but not enough to kill me. Anyway, heroin is not good for you, but compared to a lot of drugs that are popular right now, its definitely not the worse out there IMO.

Black Tar is not bad. It's not White China, but I sure as hell have gotten high from it.

a $10 shot will have be nodding so hard I have to gasp for air when i wake up from a nod. It will have be buzzing all the next day as well.
