ive recently adopted the belief that we have nothing, are nothing, and see nothing but ourselves in our environment. there is only one path, only one deterministic outcome, and it doesnt matter how you get there, or how you do it, because in the end there is nothing. only an end. hooray fatalism!
 
happy because I have pulled myself up to a B in math and I currently have a 3.6 :) I intend to keep it at this GPA or higher for the remainder of my high school career, I'd like to keep myself on honor roll from now on because I know I'm worth that.

Not to mention that the chronic shoulder pain I was having from Dec 2010 - Jun 2012 has come back :( I need more acupuncture. That shit was a miracle until now

I'm *overwhelmed*. So much going on in my personal life & my classes at uni.
 
Stardust, Sepher and Herby - I thought it had been too. I was prepared to settle the matter like a grown-up. He was not. I am concerned about Chloe for obvious reasons, but also she responds much better to her commands in French for some weird reason (I speak it; ex does not) and she's not to have 'people food' unless it is healthy, lean meat in addition to her controlled amount of kibble. He has also fed her food cooked with cannabis, a practice of which I DO NOT FUCKING APPROVE. Don't dose your pets, people. He fed her a plate of some eggs cooked in cannabutter when I was out at work one day when we lived together. I came home to find my dog - my child - stumbling and unable to walk when she is a running breed! He did admit to that and said he'd do it again because 'it was funny'. NOT FUNNY. I don't want my dog to be given drugs. No one really knows how cannabis affects animals. Animals can't consent and I certainly don't want my dog's health or well-being compromised in any way. If the vet doesn't prescribe it, she doesn't get it. Full stop.

But my words today are sunshiny and healthy. I brought some food to a friend's house last night, we watched some old South Park episodes, and then we went to a nearby farm to pick up RAW HONEY. OMG OMG OMG - honey in my iced sun tea is certainly putting a dent in my seasonal allergies. Raw honey benefits the immune system. Tonight I'm grilling up some various summer squashes and creating a walnut-honey-gorgonzola-pear sauce to serve over fresh pasta. I like being able to say I am doing good things with my health.
