I was just curious how addictive OC's are. I have a friend who just recently tried them and now all of a sudden he is doin them everyday. He tells me he doesnt need them to get by, but i dont know if i believe him anymore.

Your friend is probably in denial. Getting hooked on them isn't the worst thing in the world. You definantly don't feel like there is some force controlling you in the beginning. It sounds like it's probably just a psychological addiction for now.
But if he doesn't hurry up and realize he needs to space out his use, he's going to end up with a wopping tolerance and he will become physically hooked. This will most likely result in him being an asshole for a while and becoming very consumed with his pills and hanging out with sources. It will probably be a short lived phase but he'll likely go on abusing Oxy on and off for a while.

Yeah he is acting like a dick already...way more than ever. Thats why I asked, cause his personality is starting to change a bit.

Bottom line...
if you have a good dozen of them... youll prolly eat them all in a row (or snort hopefully) and binge for the weekend and be done....
Sorta like coke in that, you cant hold onto it for long...
but for me anyway, i can at least finish the weekend and say, damn, that was fun... cant wait till next time...
and not be like forced to run out and rob the drugstore to get more....

Just keep bringing it up with him.
Oxycodone makes you feel great, so he probably thinks he's on top of the world and right now he's probably more concerned with maintaining that feeling than anything else. And he's probably got a bit of an ego going on from having a collection of pills, the "I'm-a-badass-because-I've-got-lots-of-drugs" thing.
Let him know he's being a fag, you don't appreciate it, and basically put him in his place.

Werd...thats what I've been doin. Thanks for the info though. I already went through some tough probs with drugs myself so i know how it is...just not from OC's. But I'm gonna keep on his ass. Thanks. Peace!!!

couple other things:
given the nature of any kind of addiction, I doubt if the decision to quit can be made by anyone other than the addict. In fact I doubt if any outside factor can force the decision to quit - it has to come from inside the addict himself. So yea.. try and see what you can do, if not then be friends with him if you can and want to. Remember though, you never promised to be his jesus christ so its not your fault he's addicted to OCs and therefore not your responsibility to get him off.

the further this thread goes along, the more it is shifting from "how addictive are OC's" to a "let's offer suggestions to get my friend off OC's". If that is what you are looking for, i'd suggest taking your question over to The Darkside Forum.
The darkside is a place chock full of people trying to help other people with their drug "problems". Our drug problems in OD are usually based upon "how can i get more drugs".
good luck with your friend!

yo, Tha Wood:
look its great if your "method" worked for you and your "real man" fairies - What did you do fuck them up the ass when you all got high on e? Maybe you sucked them all off like you did with the football team in highschool.
You can disguise what you're saying with any amount of idiotic macho bravado, but essentially what you're suggesting is an intervention. What makes it even more sickening is that you've somehow convinced yourself that mdma induced emotional arguments are good and valid reasoning! Good job dipshit! Go suck some hippie psychiatrist's dick!
As for the whole "real addict" nonsense... one of the things I did advice was to watchout and not let the guy steal money from our poster here. So learn to read and comprehend english before you go off half-cocked. But then again, you're an e-tard so there's not much that can be expected of you in the intelligence dept.

Please ignore the wood.
He obviously overdosed on his testosterone shot this week.
Just talk to your friend. O/C, like any opiates have psychological, and can form physical tolerance if abused. Point him in the direction of good literature on O/C and abuse potential. Let him know you are concerned.
Friends don't give their friends beatings for breaking imaginary constraints on behavious.

Look, I'm tired of having to constantly clean up after you guys.. lets grow up! And THE WOOD is to be ignored, I have to constantly mass-delete his posts, since I cant be on 24/7 pleae ignore him until I can come in and clean his shit up..
