Discovered dxm last year, pretty heavy trips once/twice a month until recent. Two months ago like every other day then straight 2 or three weeks over 600mg a day.
Finally script for perc arrive.....so I try to stop the dx.
but my ears won't stop ringing, I have like intermident free fall sensation, and when I try to sleep at night ( not naps, just night) the free fall keeps waking me up to a brief jerking twitch body. The wife says I have been twitching in my sleep.
OK this is only the second night without the high dose on a three week binge. Am I going to have a seizure? Should I have tappered down....is going to last much longer,
Is this the new me with permeates dxm damage?

I don't feel nauseous or unable to get through the day. Just ears ring, tingling falling dsorientation, difficult to sleep...sleep twitching.

In the words of Grandmaster Flash:
"you gone high on that dxm. You gone crazy like a dxm train"

i don't think you have done permanent damage, for your sake i hope at least.

youve been doing a lot of dxm recently so its not unexpected that you might have some adverse discontinuation effects.

do you drink the syrup? thats got to be painful drinking a bottle of cough syrup a day..

i would just recommend leaving alone the dxm for a long while. i don't think you will have a seizure, these symptoms will disappear over the next few days most likely

I was doing the pills, syrup hits faster and if you have Zofran it's not that bad. Works great with perc, and withdrawing from perc. That's how I started, but then the cycle began running on auto
