Houston Blues

Not very often I write, but usually when I do it's decent. Let me know what you think. The poem if you cant decipher is about roxy. I think it would do good as a bluegrass song.

I've got the houston blues
I got them from blacks
and I got them from a jew

it only just takes two
to get me succumbing
to those expensive houston blues

If I was a rich man
I'd take them all from you
But right now I'll take what I can

and the sadness in your eyes
one day you'll have to choose
and if by sunset
you've got the houston blues
you'll wake up in the morning
and again you'll have to choose

Why why sweetheart
Did you take my precious blues?
I've got a short temper
and a just as short a fuse
I'll find you with your head down
having took my luscious hues
and I'll reach into your heart
and take my expensive houston blues

I'd still be with you
if it wasnt for the blues
I woke up one morning
with no one to accuse
and now I cant find you
cause I never got my blues
was it a game
or a clever tactful ruse?
