I just finished season 4 this weekend.

I was not at all impressed by season 3 and I felt like the direction they took was a let-down to what made the first two season's so good. That said, I think the writers learned from this because season 4 in my opinion was a big improvement and went back to elements of what made season 1 and 2 so great.

alasdair: From what i understand there will be a season 5..

Wow, the ending of this season took me by surprise. I wasn't paying attention to which episode I was watching and suddenly the season was over right in the middle of things.
