Hotrailing vs. nasal inhalation?

Ok it might be that I am just retarded, but I have on occasion inserted something into my nose and inhaled meth vapor in this fashion in hopes that I was mimicing the effects of a "hotrail".
I dont see how this is any different than snorting meth powder through a superheated glass tube in hopes that it will vaporize. Hope someone can add some good info. Thanks.

if youre doing it right, there is no need to HOPE that it will vaporize, because it WILL vaporize. i dont understand your question... what "something" have you inserted into your nose? im confused... are you trying to hotrail something that ISNT meth?

I think he means that he sometimes smokes as normal, but with the toot in his nose instead of mouth, and he is wondering if hotrailing is any different.

I am pretty sure that in each case you would be sucking vaporized meth in your nose. Never tried either, but that seems right to me.

Umm think about it. It's vaporized meth being absorbed by your lungs and nasal membranes. It's the same exact thing as smoking.

Just thought why hotrailing could be better. With hotrailing you do the whole line at once, in a very short amount of time. With smoking with your nose the size of the hit would be smaller I would think.

Hotrailing does give a better rush, but if you're like me you're too uncoordinated/foolish to be able to pull it off easily. Not really worth the effort. Maybe after you've been tweaking for awhile you might be willing to put some effort forth.

i think the main theory behind hotrailing isn't that you are smoking it through your nose as much as it's about smoking a whole shitload of meth really fucking fast. it would be really hard to get a whole hotrails worth of meth in one hit if you were just smoking it through your nose.
