Hot shot heroin

So, I searched but I wasn't able to find anything matching my question. I have a few.

Is a hot shot heroin that is too strong or is it heroin that's been cut with dangerous chemicals?

What are the chances of getting heroin cut with dangerous chemicals?

How do you tell if you have?

Can you still be affected if you snort it?

A "hot shot" is generally understood to be a lethal dose of heroin intended to make someone OD as I understand it

I mean, with street drugs, there's always a possibility of that. Some people call it a "dirty hit" and it makes your skin kind of crawl and you generally feel yucky

of course you can still be affected if you snort it. Putting dangerous chemicals into your body is putting dangerous chemicals into your body.

My understanding of a "hot shot" is a way of murdering someone by selling them some nasty chemical
(draino for example) and saying it is heroin.
Bad, bad ju-ju.

Noxious chemicals are much cheaper and easier to obtain.

NO because their dead anyways sooo how would the cops really know who it was? everyone ive ever delt with uses phones with no sucriber info, if the deal was even set up with one.... but yea its a shot of some chem that will kill someone cause that person has done something to piss someone off bad enough to want em dead but not bad enough for them to just loose their shit....

you have a point but in alot of larger cities, when someone is served a hot shot and homeless the cops dont even bother to do a tox screen... im not saying it wouldnt make more sense to make it look like an OD but if your tryin to off someone you cant guarentee it will kill em and finding super pure dope is gona be harder then finding poision....

I guess in the movies it's always just a really big dose of heroin. I've never been around a planned or executed hot shot in real life and I believe everything I see on TV so it must be true

It's always dirty cops or mob guys though and they don't have any problem finding or affording drugs

To answer your other questions...

The chances: slight, depending on the your area. Unless you have bad blood with a dealer or something most drug dealers want return business so the biggest danger you have to worry about is extremely potent stuff that you think isn't as potent and you accidentally do too much (which also, I've heard be called a hot shot)

"Hot Shot" is really a generalized term for a shot of heroin that kills you..

There is no real way to tell if you have "bad cut" heroin unless you have done/seen a lot of heroin... if it's tar it should be sticky and vinegary smelling, or a brown powder you can huff into a dark brown/black tar-ish substance, if it's white it should be almost like baking powder but grey-ish (at least from what I've gotten in my few times)
