HORROR MOVIES ONLY

Scream 7 was decent but nothing to go spend 20 bucks over

I liked the reboot the most I think -- well I dug the first one but I was like 12 tops

Any Japanese or South Korean films that havnt been copied badly by the US of A

Japan doesn't have that much cinematography at all, is mainly built on extremely old-dated films with the same writters/directors and most of the time, the same storyplot but with slightly alternation here and there. Japan is known for animes and technology instead of films. Sure, "The Ring" was a prodigy back 16-20yrs ago but now isn't anymore, it was also the entire launch they had upon the world because of the high-demand we want japan-style horror films vs hollywood slasher films.

it was a turning point in both human character evolution and cinematography. Their cousins, SK, don't as well, they try nowadays on crime films instead, which, I do appreciate it. They have decent pizza time films types that are fun enough and the twists are interesting in a way or another because of how they chose it to brush it off.

most horror nowadays are dead and their basically slasher, and the ones who keep it alive, moved to mystery because of the diversity that horror genre do not have. Mystery films is what you're looking for probably because of the human-mind element instead of invisibile enemies.

There was a inch of luck with a recent independent writter that earned some spotlights by AMC to debut with his first time film ever, called, The Yeti(mediocre title/idea sort of)

could be a interesting slasher sort of, because its made by a independent writter.

Tumbbad it's an Indian horror movie(a must watch)
Oh dear looking back at my posts I was rather dismissive of US movies
I have many favourite US horror films
I think the Exorcist is not only the greatest horror film ever but more importantly one of the greatest films ever made

Capture 2026 SPOILER ALERTS COMING (Actually pretty sure I didn't spoil much - that is the premise not the twist im gunna tell ya)

This movie was so bad in a way I am compelled to describe. So my biggest pet peeve in horror movies is "Why not a gun" and no movie does it better than this one......Which would fall into the demonic possession movie category.

So we got a classic "house on haunted hill" Plot Line -- Young woman inherits giant estate coming from poverty etc ... I am cutting to the spoiler now.

In the strangest cinematic move ever it is not the house that is haunted, not the people that are possessed........It is a (Spoiler coming)

camera that is possessed.
Only one camera ---

This camera effectively becomes a gun for the duration of the movie.... which is never more apparent than when a character yells "Do what I say or I'll point this Fcking camera at you right now I sware to god"...
(If only there was something that person could point back that would be roughly same level of menacing)

"House with a gun camera in it" 2026 movie review

Who here has seen this nonsensical movie. Where and what was the stuff again?

Hey whoever sees this movie pay attention to what the cabbie says when he's holding the door open for Paul Sorvino and the girl after they get off the plane. Pay attention to his voice when he says "What is this WW3" It's hilarious whoever did the voice over for the scene did a really stange voice. It's worth watching just to hear what I'm talking about.

Witchboard 2025

"Better than Ouija" would be the tagline..... One thing that got to me with this movie; I could not believe how " (Our psychic expert *possibly bad guy not there yet* w/e) talks down to our 'protagonist' and he just lets this weird ma'fucker son him all day with no objection.
