Horror movies on acid...?

The only time I've watched something on TV while tripping it was Trailer Park Boys, and I didn't even find it that funny. I was already coming down anyway, actually, the effect was almost gone, but after that, when I tried to sleep, some of the dialogs kept resonating in my head and it was annoying as fuck.
 
I wouldn't try it. Not worth the risk of it screwing up your trip when there are a ton of better things you could do while tripping. I hate watching any movie during a trip. It all seems so absurd to me. I can't get it out of my mind that they're all repeating lines from a script while in front of cameras.

Saw it tripping. The ending (not to give anything away) was, um.... amazing. Not horrible at all, quite the opposite... made even better by all that came before...

Principle of Tension And Release. Kinda like an orgasm, hehe.

Movies while tripping all depend on the specific movie, the environment (AVOID a big dense crowd... go after the rush has subsided or in the middle of some afternoon when the theatre is mostly empty).

Saw Dark Knight on a stiff dose of 2C-I. I thought it was utterly awesome, and not in any way damaging or permanently disturbing. Rather uplifting in fact in many ways.

The visuals were OMFG tripping. And and the script and performances had so many deeply thoughtful multilayered observations about human nature and psychology and society... And I had just NO clue what was ever coming next... VERY well done! The whole thing seemed fraught with a deep and powerful significance like some potent ancient Greek Fable or something.

Excellent trip material, IMO... maybe 2C-I was ideal for it, as 2C-I tends to LOWER emotional reactions and greatly reduce freak-out potential. I guess I would NOT recommend it on shrooms, obviously, haha!
 
I remember trying to watch that batman movie, but from the first scene I remember the joker, or was it batman could have been shot and killed very easily

reminds of watching some disney show with my sibling, dialogue with something along the lines of "throw out all rationality and up the action even more"

A Daffy Duck cartoon once synched with The Prodigy's first album insanely once, on a shitload of MDMA.

Try those cartoons, seriously. Anyway to the op... watch The Excorsist or something, and write to us when the hospital let you use the internet...
 
I watched "The Happening" (I know, terrible movie) on acid once.

It was the scariest thing I have ever seen. I legit horror movie seems terrible. Though, I think I'm going to watch Requiem for a Dream next time I trip. I imagine that will trump the happening in terms of scariness.
 
^gross... only seen requiem once, and that was plenty ;) Not that it isn't a good film, i just have no desire to see it again.

I've watched a few horror movies while tripping on various things. Usually towards the end of the trip though. And frankly i could never take them seriously enough to get scared. I just felt that the whole premise was so insane as to be laughable. I'm sure everyone would have a different reaction though.

The only "horror" movie i could recommend for a trip would be Dead & Breakfast :D
