An alternative medicine conference has ended in chaos in Germany after dozens of delegates took a LSD-like drug and started suffering from hallucinations.

Broadcaster NDR described the 29 men and women “staggering around, rolling in a meadow, talking gibberish and suffering severe cramps”.

The group of "Heilpraktikers" was discovered at the hotel where they held their conference in the town of Handeloh, south of Hamburg, on Friday.

Lol its never funny when ppl have bad experiences, but this is kinda funny. People who aren't necessarily into better living through chemistry taking a drug like 2c-e.

^^that's just what I was thinking...

I mean, if they were good homeopothists (sp?) they would have just mixed 1mg in a gallon and that would have given the effects (lol homeopathy)

But yeah, 2C-E seems like an odd choice for people clearly not used to psychedelics.

These people were "Heilpraktiker". See .... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Heilpraktiker

Dont know why the independent calls them homeopothists - the German media never labeled the conference that way. Some Heilpraktiker engage in homepathy, but others do psychotherapy etc. They don't do classic medicine. They are allowed to, as they have no real medical background, and their services are not covered by health insurance. A lot of Germans find this profession very sketchy, while others see them as their last resort, when anything else failed.

Guess it was some kind of experimental psychotherapy thing they tried to do ......

Never underestimate the power of...
