Homemade Extended-release system

There are threads all over the Internet asking about how to undo some pharmaceutical companies new XR tablets in order to get high faster. What I've never seen is a way to tak something that isn't time release and make it time release with everyday materials.

I was thinking I could get the largest availible size of gel caps and a smaller more resilient capsule of some kind that would fit inside those. Then you could just measure out a dose you want right away into the big cap and the dose you want to hit later into the smaller one. Simple right?

Except for two problems. I haven't been able to find anything suitable to make the smaller capsule out of that would be safe to eat :)

The other issue is obviously that this design wouldnt be a true XR. The drug wouldn't be released slowly bit by bit over hours, you would just get one dose quickly and then another dose a little while later :-/

Oh and if this is just a really dumb idea please tell me. I'm not always sure if I'm being creative or retarded ;)

Maybe I'm the only one, but there a few drugs that I would prefer in a time release (a few rc stims come to mind) so that I could just take one pill and be good for hours ;). Idk if that is even possible but if anybody has any ideas I'd love to hear them.
 
a oxycodone xr would be nice, but i would want 30mgs to last a few hours, then another 30mgs to last, having 60mgs last like a 40mg XR Adderall. that shit lasts all damn day.

Could be a good idea, ill keep an eye on this thread. Maybe if you covered any in wax? i know the adderall is covered in a wax-like film, i do believe

That could work if you used the kind of wax that they make novelty candy out of. I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to get some from a candy company of some sort. That just leaves the other issue. If you just have two capsules, one inside the other, you would get the same effect as you would from taking one pill and then taking another a while later. Not exactly cutting edge :P.

Hmmm... Idk. Gonna have to think about it some more.

Guess I'm just weird 8D. I'm mostly interested in whether a makeshift time release system might help increase the duration and decrease the negative side effects of some of these fast acting, hard hitting RC stimulants available everywhere these days. Mephedrone in particular is one I think might be good for this.
However, I'm not a doctor or a chemist so I have no idea if this could work or not. :D
