Television Homeland

i started watching this after the emmy hoopla. 1st and 2nd episodes were outstanding. 3rd was good. 4th was silly. 5th was good again. 6th was silly, 7th was good again.

it's been a little annoying watching it derail and rerail twice now but it's easily good enough to keep me coming back. [spoil]carrie fucking brody then going on a drunken adventure with him was the silliest thing of all. that said, the scene on the cabin deck when he admitted to 'killing' tom walker was the best acting i've seen in the show so far[/spoil].

i love it because it just isnt predicatble at all. and i dont mean like 'lost' where the writers just decided to write in a black smoke monster one day etc

great plot, great actors
 
i dislike how the show [spoil]makes it a plot point to see him sneak into his garage, then reveal he is praying like a muslim playing up the political correctness of the audience who are conflicted over whether his change of religion means he's become a bad guy, and in then in the end he is. what, are all muslims terrorists? the show is inferring a connection between islam and terrorism/suicide bombers. [/spoil]

I havent watched the show yet, but I bet you're being lefty, politically correct, vegetarian, etc.
 
yeah but i think there are a huge portion of people who actually believe muslims are evil and out to get them etc, more so in the usa than anywhere else. its good that the storyline reflects modern views.

even if yeah. i aint got a problem with anyone of any religion/background, but you have to admit, there seems to be a growing agenda against muslims
