How important is home bed advantage for you? After a date, which do you prefer going back to his/her apartment or do you insist that they come back to yours?

there are sooo many things to consider when it comes to this...
1. Is she pretty? You don't want to be seen doing the walk of shame in last nights wrinkled clothes if she wasn't.
2. If she's on your turf, do you really want to wait for her to be good and ready to leave in the morning... If you're at her house, it's easier to decide when to part ways... Maybe you want breakfast, maybe you don't.
3. There is the whole clean sheet thing. Nothing says I'm a man whore like fresh cum stains on the sheets. Trust me either wash 'em or buy printed sheets not dark solid color.
4. Stumbling around drunk in a dark, strange house can lead to stubbed toes.
I could go on but you get the idea...

In short, it's more smooth away from home if it's a hook-up. Helps with dissociation.

I like being at my place. I'd rather the dude worry about how he has to get home afterwards. There's nothing worse than walking out in the light of day in your clubbing face/clothes and trying to figure out how to get home or trying to hail a taxi. It's awesome just being able to stay in bed.

also i prefer other people places as i get to indulge my nosiness and ask them for food and drinks and judge them on the basis of what they provide (foodie freak who gets hungry during sex). also my room is often full of poetry i'm working on and little bits of art and i'm not keen on having someone upset my disorganisation.

Last time I remember actually setting my alarm 3 hours early and telling him to leave cuz I had to get ready for class and needed to get some work done first. I didn't start til 11 but made us get up at 6:30, that's how desperate I was for him to leave hahah

on a sidenote one of my friends (bordeline personality) who likes s&m type shit brought some guy home. he couldn't get it up and the next morning he informed her she had punched him in the face repeatedly during what little sex was had. she gave him an awkward car journey home. jokes

I'm easy. Good having someone to wake up to in your own bed if the night was a good one, if you feel like having them around and they feel the same way can make a day of it or a weekend. Same applies if at their place, nice to wake up in someone else's bed, get a better feel for a person seeing them in their natural environment and they'd tend to be more comfortable and relaxed perhaps in their own place.
Some words of advice if anyone should find themselves in a girlies home for the night: on a second date with a girl I was desperately trying to impress, I got up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom. Not being used to the layout of her flat, and being somewhat worse for wear I made it as far as her hallway, where I was discovered by her flatmate stark, bollock naked, pissing all over her ironing board. It was only when I was told about it the next day that some inkling started coming back to me. Needless to say, I was mortified. Luckily it was an old ironing board, with a not very attractive cover and the girlie in question found it vaguely amusing so no harm done! I would tend to advise noone does this themselves. Always, always, always have the layout of their place thoroughly memorised before the need for a mid night piss arises. I always like my place better for hook ups. I hate waking up in the middle of the night and she's still asleep and im just sitting there like hmmm what do i do i cant sleep. Plus the bathroom issue i always feel weird if i'm in someone else place and haveta use their bathroom for cleanup or shower or just to piss/dump.
Home is always good for me. That said you can tell a lot by a womans sheets.........
