Holiday in Cambodia

I tend to listen when others are talking about travel take some of it in and use it for my own adventures.
im a total novice at travelling but love it. Just wish i had the balls to jack the job and do it properly instead of these 3 week semi-travel/holiday trips

You could easily spend more time in Cambodia, my advice would be to go there first and spend as much time as you think you need. I spent 3 days looking around the temples of Angkor, some people could easily spend more time just on that.
Perhaps start in Siem Reap see Angkor Wat etc then to Phnom Penh, Kep, Kampot, Sihanoukville then from Sihanoukville you can easily take a bus across the border into Thailand straight to Koh Chang.
You could miss out Kep and Kampot if you were stuck for time. I thought Kep was pretty interesting though, rented a motorbike and went round exploring all the old holiday homes of rich Khmers and French that were ruined during the Khmer Rouge era.

I'd also recommend spending time in the forested north east or south west of Cambodia while there's actually a little forest left, cause it won't be there in ten years. . .
Mondulkiri, Rattankiri or Koh Kong provinces. Get out camping, ride elephants, shoot guns, swim in rivers etc. hire a guide though.

Hey i know this post is a bit old. But I've been wondering where to find some ket in cambodia. Its gotten harder and harder over the years I've visited. Im around kampot and have checked many pharmacys and asked several local foreigners but no one seems to know where to find the stuff. Anyone got any leads on the subject? Help would be greatly appreciated.
