I've always been a sort of witch doctor or shaman, all the way back to the 70s. Then i had a good career doing government consulting in a scientific field with a high security clearance and all that time my shamanistic uses of psychedelics was kept secret. After taking early retirement to be a self-employed consultant i realized my interpersonal skills needed improvement so i went through the training to be a suicide crisis line volunteer and became their senior volunteer.
You can find my posts from 1998 giving advice to drug users on alt.drugs and alt.drugs.hard ADH which was how i met Harry who would later create the website coldwaterworld.com about apap extraction and also a message board for ADH old-timers and that's how i came to know Denning Langston, who'd been in the news after Florida busted him for GHB which was not yet illegal, he was posting as The Chemical Engineer and we stayed friends until his death in California. In 1998 i was using variations on wishdoctor as a handle and was accessing the internet through Prodigy dial-up in Hawai'i and signing those posts with the abbreviation WD. Then a few years at message boards becoming a top poster. And then a few years doing IRC chat support at tripsit.me with thousands of sessions.
