Hobart "Cap" Scene - DANGERS OF CAP USE

So over the last month or so Ive started to identify what actives really are in some of the caps that go around hobart.

My goal is to try to get my friends to stop spending all their money on this random shit so i wrote them a big long letter.

Anyway my laptop battery is about to die so ill hurry... these are some of the caps from a week to a month ago and what they contained, thought this might be interesting for others^^

1. Clear Large caps - Green powder inside.
Contained crushed steroid pills/Anapolon - These are also sold as green hexagons but are actually pentagon shaped

2. Green and white caps - Medium Size.
Contain Caffeine + MDPV.

3. Clear White caps Large
MDPV + Benzocaine.

4. Dark Blue and White caps - medium size
DMAA + Caffeine

5. Blue and Red Caps - medium size
Guarana and Caffeine.

6. Light blue and white caps - medium
Paracetamol and MDPV

7. Dark blue and white - large
BK-MDMA and caffeine.

8. Dark Blue and Light Blue - Large
Mephedrone, caffeine and creatine

9. Clear caps and Light Green powder - Large
Contain 4-MEC/Crushed up Jolly Green Granules.

10. Clear caps with a light brown powder - Large
MDAI with around 40-50% purity

The real problem with caps though is that they are so hard to identify. Having two identical looking caps is absolutely no guarantee they'll have identical contents as anyone can crack one open, empty and refill them, or obtain emtpy ones. Pills are somewhat easier to distinguish as there are more aspects that can be used to differentiate them (size, shape, weight, logo, colour, bevel, score, consistancy & quality of press etc) though as anyone who's been in the scene a while can attest there are still plenty of copy cats & fake pills following the release of any strong ones.
 
The first caps you mentioned I was actually going to put up a report on as being dangerous. Word on the grapevine is that they were methylone, crushed pill (guesssing the roids) and dimethocaine, although when combined with MDMA they gave effects close to serotonin syndrome for a few people, they made me feel horrible and slightly trip. I heard that the person making them has access to a lot of DXM which is what I assumed was in these too.

Whatever they are I think they're fucking dangerous and the word is if the person keeps making these shithouse concoctions then they wont be around for much longer. I assume they think they're smart, but honestly they're just trying to make money at the expense of other peoples health and that sickens me.

Thank God there's a small amount of pure drone in for the halloween weekend :)

We have a general policy at BL that it's hard to do reports on caps/molly/powder. As it is so easy to change the type of cap you poor stuff into. However if someone is trying to make a recognizable product by being consistant then perhaps the information is worthwhile.

I am going to leave this open for a little while to see if you can back up your claims. This thread will just leave to availability discussion, however if you can back up your claims, there might be some HR value in it.

We'll see.

edit:

at least the list shows how easy it is to have random chemicals in powder form poored into caps of random colours. Be careful!

lol wtf can someone please explain any reason to put paracetamol in a cap (say, versus something equally non-psychoactive but not potentially fatal)? :\

^ to bulk it out so if an uninformed user looks in it they don't think they're being ripped off. MDPV is active in quite small doses. I agree that there are plenty of other less harmful things that could be used to do the same thing though....

yeah I gathered that. But would they have any effect whatsoever? I can imagine alot of different things you could pass off as caps that will be cheaper and actually have an effect, unlike roids:\

It's no surprise really. Especially in Australia most punters will eat ecstasy/anything round/anything sold as MDMA without even flinching.

I really don't know why people still bother with caps or pills. i still have friends who keep buying the fucking things, even though they have had great pills before, and are well aware they are not MDMA.

BTW, pillreports is still a sad state of afairs. I get a bit of kick out of the green elephant thread, 90+ posts and only a handful of people who have actually tried them and still no fucking picture.

I was told by a acquaintance that he puts roids in his caps to make the people sweat, therefore they think its good speed.

Steroids in caps hey? That explains why my balls have shrunk and my bench press has gone up;)

BTW, on a more serious note, your friend needs to pull his head. I guess this is a timely warning to all that some irresponsible people will put anything into caps. buyer beware!8o

Caps/Powder Info reports are against the guidelines of AusDD. It is pretty clear why this is the case, as caps/powder are impossible to identify as it is so easy to emulate them.

Let this thread be a reminder to how easy it is to eat anything in a cap. I strongly suggest that you never eat a cap/power without testing it first with an test kit to at least get an idea of what might be in there.

Be safe people. MDMA is making a come back, we have been patient, don't fuck yourself up now, when the end of the drought seems near.
