Fuck can anyone advice me on hitting on the veins in my hands? They roll so fucking much I never know when I'm deep in enough and fuck I can't ever register. My arms are getting tired, I got awesome big veins on both arms I can even shoot without tying if I want to but man I need to rotate spots. :!

I have hit on my hands quite a bit. Perhaps it's just me but they never roll. I always use new needles and tie off.

Hehe. I've been IVing almost daily for years and I bet my arms look better than his. :)

Narutokun, no offense meant, just having some fun.

That's because those pics where when I ODed and kept injecting benzos all night totaly fucked up and swirling needles around my vein and cutting them with needles. Now they are much better. :p

That's a large gauge even for your inner elbow. I've found that smaller gauge needles(29G and up) allow you to hit your hands easier.

Holy shit 25 gauge? That's suicide you fucking nutty weirdo, jesus christ.

Lowest I've done was 29 gauge and it hurt like a bitch.

For Intravenous repeated drug use in the arms you should be using 30-31 gauge needles. One gauge makes all the difference, I prefer 30 gauge because 31 slip out the vein too easily and don't 'anchor in' the way 30 gauge do.

For hands though, you want extremely short needles and extremely small gauge.

^I agree, looking at my box'o'rigs, they are 29g. I suppose when you're narutokun though you need bigger needles to deliver all that yummy blue shit.... :(

EDIT - that was a response to Phrozen's post. I have no problem with 29g as I generally DO NOT reuse needles(okay it's happened once or twice, how I got hep C).

The only gauge they have commonly by me is 29. The other option is the tip size, 3/8th or 1/2 in, I prefer the 1/2 in cause you can go in half way with a 1/2 in but not far in with a 3/8. My friend spends $12 on 10 30 or 31 gauge tip rigs but the reg 29 G ones are only $2.50 and they hit veines easier than the smaller ones.

LOL i have no problem with the needles i use whatsoever
so i need to get insulin needles to hit on my hands?

Are your veins visible before you tie off? How do you insert the needle(ie push it in or tap it in)?
Yes they are visible, I insert the needle like everyone else should? Bevel facing up, with a low angle degree.

I've always found the veins in the hand are the best and easiest to hit.....
So bad I used them too much, and can't use them anymore......

Theres a vein in your left hand between your thumb and index finger, its about halfway between them and you'd prolly need the needle tip almost all the way in with a 1/2 in tip, too deep for the 3/8 tip needles. You can only hit it so much before it says fuck you and disappears. I used it up within a few days of finding it.

Has happend to me as well. But i have this incredible fat vein in my forearm that's taken some much abuse over the years i don eaven wanna think abut it. And it still suck everything in. If i overuse it it starts to dodge. That's a sing to give it at least two weeks holiday and after that it's as good as ever.
