History Channel - Illegal Drugs and How They Got That Way

Ive only seen the Cocaine and Marijuana ones so Far, the others are Tivo'd - But Props to the History Channel for their less than biased reporting.

I really didnt have too many qualms with what they said, though most of it was a historical perspective so its not like they had an agenda, and I was very interested by how many laws were circumvented to prevent drugs from being used by "Deviant Groups" (blacks, latinos, forigners etc.) Good watchin

Well I've got the Rave/E/Meth one and the Mariajuana one still on my TiVo Harddrive, and i may be getting this Tivo-to-computer yin-yang soon,....

How much would you guys be willing to pay for a CD-R or DVDR of each one?

i haven't seen any of these yet- it would be great if someone whose seen each of them could start a thread- one for each show- give a summary- not biased I might add- put your own comments under it- then each show can be discussed in one thread.

blue adonis- should we put this on the front page for a week so people will see it?

I too would like to see it, I am sure there is a kind soul out there who taped this and could post it on a ftp site somewhere... I hope ;)
 
I have three of the four from this series recorded in mpeg format. I have the Marijuana/Amphetamine, LSD/Ecstasy, and Cocaine episodes. I'm missing the Opium episode.
If you guys have some patience then I can download this from my Replay machine and upload it somewhere for all to enjoy. I'm really busy at the present moment so it may take me a couple weeks to get around to doing this.

Anyone else have the Opium episode to make the whole thing complete?

Are they replaying this series, or am I just missing something here?
 
Well, it turns out I won't be able to share my recorded shows. My PVR bit the dust and had to be sent back to the manufacturer. I wish I had some way of retrieving the shows without voiding my warranty. I could take out the hard drive and try to retrieve the files off of it but that would void the warranty and then I wouldn't be able to get a replacement unit.

Sorry guys.

I think I might just buy the DVD version that someone mentioned was available. Does anyone know where I can purchase that?
