Heroin Histamine reactions

I've searched this forum before starting this thread, to no avail, to try and find out if anyone else experiences similar to me whilst injecting H. I started a thread on here a long while ago about artery shots, as I was convinced that was what was happening to me. It's not, it's histamine reactions (90%sure)

When I find a decent injection site.. I use it for a while then all of a sudden after I have registered and pushed for a nano second the pain is absurd. And the swelling is horrendous. It's actually really scary, it's like having molten lava poured over your arm. Theres no way you'd be able to carry on injecting no matter how bad the rattle was. Normally I just go somewhere else.. use it for a while and eventually the same thing will happen. I find it really hard to believe that I am the only person who suffers like this.. Also whilst injecting in my chest once, a place I had never used before, the same thing happened. And no they aren't misses, I know exactly what misses feel/look like. Does anybody know of anyone else who experiences this or how to prevent it happening?

have you tried taking a couple benadryl (or any antihistamine) a half hour to an hour before you shoot to fight it, if it is in fact a histamine reaction?

That sounds like a pretty extreme reaction.. it may be that your gear is cut with something like codeine, which is notorious for causing these sorts of things.

Otherwise, do as Hdouble0 said, get some antihistamines. Not sure if it would be better to IV them or take orally, though.

For what it's worth, there was a batch of heroin going around for a couple weeks that the people I used with all bought and injected, and it affected all of us in a similar way. Pain at the injection site, following the injection the site would turn red and swell up and become extremely sensitive to touch leading to extreme, unbearable pain. All of us ended up rotating so many places that we hurt all over our bodies, from our feet to our legs to hips to arms and hands. But we continued to use the same poison junk as it was the only dope as had available at that time. However after securing a new source, and a few weeks of healing time, the sores and pain and swelling and redness all went away. It was easily the worst experience I had as a heroin addict. If you are registering without a doubt, it could be something wrong with the street heroin you are using, if your reaction is anything like I described. Otherwise it could be anything from a very serious histamine reaction (as you and others have noted), it could be some kind of illness. Hard to say. Your best bet is to seek medical attention if you are concerned for your general physical health.

I did wonder about cutting agents. As for red lines in my veins.. er, hard to say.. I'll try the benadryl I think. The swelling always subsides after an hour or so, but the intense pain is literally as soon as I try and deliver the gear. Like I said, just for that nano second. I spent ages thinking that it was arterys I was hitting, because whenever it happens the blood literally pours out. I'm positive it's histamine so I'll see how the benadryl works.. thank you for your advice^

id try like some claritin clear try that before u shoot if its a histamine you'll not have anything if its the gear then idk ='( ive seen people get morphine in medical situations and they have red lines threw the vains as a allergic reaction
