"Darkness cannot be dissipated with more darkness.
Are Hillary Clinton's views on marijuana legalization evolving? Maybe.

Clinton told a CNN town hall Tuesday that she sees the "benefits" of medical marijuana and wants to "wait and see what the evidence is" from the two states experimenting with legalizing cannabis for recreational use.

"At the risk of committing radical candor, I have to say I think we need to be very clear about the benefits of marijuana use for medicinal purposes," Clinton said during an interview with CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour.

The former secretary of state, who is promoting her book Hard Choices, said that "there should be availability (of marijuana) under appropriate circumstances."

But suggested that we need more research, "because we don't know how it interacts with other drugs." And called states the "laboratories of democracy" in terms of seeing how recreational policies play out.

Has she ever used marijuana? Nope and she doesn't plan to begin smoking it anytime soon. "I didn't do it when I was young. I'm not going to start now," she said.

Well, that's better than when she answered that drugs shouldn't be legalized because "there is just too much money in it."

"Radical candor" LOL. That is because any candor in the world of politics is a radical act.

Hilary, since you and I are of the same generation, I wonder what harsh chemical solution you have found and are no doubt using for menopausal insomnia? Me, I choose to use a plant from my own garden, eaten, not smoked.

"At the risk of committing radical candor losing a lot of money from drug busts plus asset seizures and pissing off the ruling elites who fund my campaigns, I have to say I think we I need to be very clear certain about the benefits of marijuana use for medicinal purposes economical benefits from switching sides," Clinton said during an interview with CNN correspondent Christiane Amanpour.

Possible translation.

"wait and see what the evidence is"

The evidence, my dear, is that he did actually inhale after all :)
